'Very quiet hotel, clean, tidy and attentive staff, especially Albert, he went above and beyond to make our stay with our colleagues perfect. Drinks in the bar were very reasonably priced, breakfast was as good quality standard to start the day.'

'We didn’t stay for very long, but the room was clean and beds comfortable. It took a while for our room to warm up, which was a little annoying as we arrived at the hotel very late. However, the gentleman at reception was helpful and managed to sort it out from reception . The staff were all lovely and, as mentioned in previous reviews I’d read, the breakfast was great! Overall a nice and comfortable overnight stay'

'The complementary hand soap and shampoo containers were empty upon my arrival and did not get refilled when I brought it to their attention. On the other hand they provided me with lots of ice and decaffeinated tea when requested.'

'Lovely friendly and welcoming staff, room was lovely and we had a great stay, thank you (Only side note shower in Monarch room was a bit rubbish)'

'delicious food, friendly staff, on a busy road, but on the back a nice walk into the countryside'

'It is an old building with similar rooms which are quite small.'
