'Well situated quiet accommodation within easy walking distance of beautiful Alnwick. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Groom’s room which is upstairs in the owners home. It was spacious with a very comfy bed, a sofa, lovely quality furnishings and a table just outside the room where a perfect breakfast was served. David and Bev our hosts were so welcoming and have thought of everything. Absolutely no complaints as everything was top notch and we look forward to returning and hopefully stay...

'The property is a beautiful historic home with fun trap doors and hiding places from the original owner's tea smuggling days. It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house. We also spent a day surfing in Coldingham Bay only a stone's through away. The first floor of the property is often used...

'Beautiful hotel and incredible staff - a must stay! We stayed two nights with our young whippet in the cosy Coachouse, parking right outside. Breakfast was delicious and fab quality. Staff fussed over the dog, she got her own breakfast sausage and treats in the room. The service throughout was impeccable, this is the friendliest place I've ever stayed.'

'Utroligt stort og dejligt varmt værelse. Blev taget godt imod, trods travl pub-quiz-aften ! Ved en fejl, blev vi opkrævet for værelset, skønt forudbetalt - vi var på rundtur, så det .... Men super service med hurtig returnering af dobbeltbetalingen. Maden var også supergod !'
