'The rooms were immaculate and even had a a book in there explaining the history behind the building which was really interesting. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great all for good pricing. The area is very quiet but there’s plenty of places to go that’s within walking distance or 5-10 minutes in the car but it truly is set out as the Victorian/Tudor era. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Overall amazing stay and would definitely come again!'

'We were in room 9 so when other guests going in and out of side entrance, door noisy would help if door has a silencer on it as room 9 right next to the exit. Good parking for motorbikes. Breakfast great.'

'The hotel was lovely, Clean, warm and friendly. I ate in one evening and the food was excellent. Served promptly, hot and plentiful. My experience with the hotel was very good but my experience with hotels.com not good at all. I booked a pay on arrival at the hotel but 3 days beforehand the fee was taken from my bank account to pay a hotel with the same name, but 250 miles away. 'We had a wonderful stay at The Dolfor Inn. The room was just beautiful, packed with original features and the bed was super comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning which were both absolutely delicious. Our hosts were fantastic company and obviously love what they do with the attention to detail and service. We had a lovely drink with them Friday night, lots of laughs and great company. We will definitely be back A++++'

'A very informal AirBNB in enormous family home. Hosts were very friendly, informal and keen to help. Full Breakfast was fabulous - I haven't seen a Hostess Trolley since 1983 and the croissant and granola yoghurt were lovely! Bed was very cosy and view from window stunning. Short walk or drive up to the rocks. On the negative side, en suite shower/loo/sink is very small and some of its finishes could be quite a bit better. Renovation is obviously still a work in progress, especially outside....
