« It's an older motel that is getting renovated. when I checked in I was greeted by Margaret who is absolutely gorgeous. Her first sentence to me was hello, I was getting worried about you! so sweet - as it was dark and late when I arrived. (and travelling as a female on her own can be daunting) The room was just the right size for me, the heater worked well and they had a new kettle, toaster and microwave in the room so that was a win. « Its close to snowy »

« We had everything we needed to complete the Snowy Alpine Trail at Stillwell. A comfy bed and a warm shower at the end of the trail each day. The food was good considering we stayed out of snow season and there was only one person in the kitchen. The salad was fresh and chicken cooked well. Only a few meals available but they were cooked well. Staff were lovely at all times. Wine and beer was cold! Highly recommend Stillwell for being handy to walk the trails nearby. »
