« Nous avons demandé un thé vers 11:00 pour y accueillir un ami, réponse: “there is no service now”. Puis nous avons demandé pour un entretien avec notre visiteur, au calme car il y avait un match de foot dans le grand salon et beaucoup de bruit, sollicitant de nous mettre dans un salon annexe, réponse: “no that’s not possible”. Déplorable…. Nous n’y retournerons pas »

« We had a lovely time. The whole staff, starting with Sue, who checked us in, were brilliant, the breakfast outstanding, the room clean, the view of the river and opposite shore outstanding. We plan to return. »

« Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial. »

« Close to metro and shopping area, love the culture »

« Loved everything about Alnwick and The majestic purple. Immediately felt at home upon arrival. Great communication from host. Lovely property in the ideal location for exploring Alnwick. Kids loved it and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. Thank you. »

« We were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable and brilliantly fitted out. Very comfortable beds and hot tub was fantastic, lookinv out at stunning views. »

« Beautiful Location and Immaculate Cottage! Everything spot on. Just a 5 min walk from the Wedding Venue. Local Spar shop with everything you need (or forgot!). Hosts are easily contactable via email, text or phone. Highly recommend this Cottage. Definately stay again! »

« The cottage was well equipped very comfortable and well looked after. Belford is convenient for sights and quiet with a supermarket and pubs in walking distance. We had to contact an intermediary on arrival as we had not been sent the email woth the keycode. This was irritating but they handled it very well for us. »

« Everything was perfect. All you could possibly need was supplied, right down to eggs and milk. Even a heavenly sponge cake as a welcome gift. »

« Totalement dépaysant atypique pour les amoureux de la nature c est parfait »

« Lodge was easy to find and access from email instructions. Love the decor/styling. Kitchen was well kitted out and a great shower. Good TV, comfy sofa. Small secure outdoor space was fine for small dog to potter out. Highly recommend for a couple. Very handy for town centre, Alnwick Castle and parkrun Heaters seems to constantly click loudly so options were a disrupted sleep or being a bit cold overnight. Parking would be tricky in peak season but <5mins walk. »

« Neighbours had a long loud domestic incident on Saturday evening/ Sunday morning which was very unfortunate and disturbing »

« 3 night stay in Alnwick, the property is in a perfect spot for shops,pubs and restaurants And right next to the castle The property is on three floors with a spiral staircase that could be a problem for some people »
