'Great hotel, next to the witch market. Do not expect a 5 star hotel with a lot of luxury but it had everything we needed. Good breakfast - great location and you can book your tours at the reception and change currency at the hotel'

Hotel Sal AndinaUyuni
7.4 van 10, Goed, (46 beoordelingen)
'I booked Hotel Sal Andina through Expedia for three nights, but my experience was extremely disappointing.
Expedia stated that English and Spanish were available, but I could not communicate with any staff member in English. All explanations were in Spanish, so I had to use a translation app every time. This made even simple interactions stressful.
Expedia also advertised a 24-hour front desk, but staff were not actually available 24 hours a day. I had a prepaid tour departing at 3:30 AM, but...

'The staff was friendly. However, the bathroom did not seem to have been properly cleaned before our stay. Also, the host was asleep when we wanted to enter the hostel around 11 p.m. We had to wait for about 10 minutes and keep calling before he woke up and opened the door.'

'It was such an inexpensive place that it is really impossible to give anything but high marks. We only stayed a few hours before leaving after mid night to catch our flight. I can not give 5 stars because of the horrible check in system. My husband, myself, our driver stood in front of the building with no idea which gate we are supposed to go in. We kept ringing the bell next to the gate. After a few minutes we saw that the gate was unlocked. So, we went inside the yard. There are two doors....

'The location is excellent, right in the Witches' Market, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The lady serving breakfast was lovely and friendly. However, the breakfast is very basic, consisting mainly of bread, coffee, and usually just one egg. The room can also get very cold, especially the bathroom, even with the heater turned up to the maximum. The shampoo and soap were only replenished once during my stay, and I even had to ask for more shampoo. The shower takes quite a while...

'O quarto tem uma vista maravilhosa pro lago, mas não tem uma pessoa que fica lá direto. A moça que toma conta marcou a hora pro café e a hora do jantar. E fica numa ilha em um morro. Se vc precisa de QQ coisa não tem a quem recorrer. Ficamos perdidos para chegar e ao chegar o quarto nem estava pronto. Acho que é uma característica da ilha que é tudo difícil acesso.'
