Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants....

'Always a pleasure staying at the central hotel, as well as the grand central hotel. Amazing location just around the corner of Nanjing road and the bund, very convenient family mart across the road. Metro station “East Nanjing road” at 5 minute walking distance. Amazing friendly staff that speak excellent English. Absolute go to when staying in the tourist center of Shanghai.'
