'Great location, the property is quaint and the grounds are lovely. KC is hot and humid in August so we appreciated the a/c and ceiling fan in our room! We didn’t encounter staff and all communication and transactions were virtual, which I really liked. 'I really liked everything about my stay here, but what impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. This is the first time I have ever had a manager stop by my table at the free breakfast to ask how my stay was. And then, when he saw things that needed doing at breakfast, he picked up trash and wiped tables. Clearly his attitude influences the rest of staff. Kudos'

'Great location for KC Current game; we walked to the stadium (5 minutes) and shuttle golf carts were also available from CPKC for guests in need. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff at check-in and in housekeeping. Fun decor, great view of the river and bridge! I wish there was a grab & go breakfast item, but the lack of quick service did not impact our positive experience. Would definitely stay again. '
