'This is it! The room is fantastic! If you love a great oceanic view with the soothing sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks. This is it! The location is a bit secluded from the local towns buttt still within 20/30 min reach and believe me if you’re going for the views, there’s no need to leave the area. Great restaurant (AMA) on property and a few local spots a short walk away. Literally a 4 minute walk from the beach (Cane Bay). If you’re double minded… just pick this one.'

'We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!'

'The workers at the resort for very nice and friendly, my biggest concern was that the resort did not look anything like the photos that were advertised. Rooms were decent and nice pool area, but the photos depicted the hotel to be this big nice pretty resort, and that just was not the case. Very happy with the staff, just didn't love that I felt deceived by the photos.'

'The views were extraordinary and the location, peaceful. The accommodations were better than expected with simple amenities free of charge, such as coffee, beverages and snacks, with replenishment upon request at no extra charge. Communication was prompt. My mom and I slept well every night of our 6-night stay. This location is ideal if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle and still be relatively close to basic shopping.
