'I stayed for two days at this location . On the first day I mostly grabbed custard and relaxed at the rental. I somehow missed that the place had a hot tub and pool, so I was pleasantly surprised. 'I love this property! Always clean, quiet, and the hosts Erica and Tamera are wonderful! There are eccentricities, but those things just make the casita that much more fun to stay at. Being in cities, hotels, traffic and noise is not our style. If you are looking for manicured lawns, beautiful edifices with all the trappings, this would not be for you. 'Lovely place. Response to requests for assistance were prompt, and Carla was friendly and very efficient. This was the third time I have stayed here, and I enjoy it very much. The only drawback is the noise - the building has lots of banging/creaking going on. During the day it is not too noticeable but can be quite loud at night.'

'This worked well for me. The studio is attached to the owner's residence. You can arrange use of the laundry in the owner's portion of the property. You can use the owner's kitchen, since the studio has a microwave, but not a full stove/oven. Imelda is very friendly and outgoing, so just knock on the door and ask about laundry or kitchen access. 'This is my second time staying at Casita Shay, but my fourth time staying at one of their properties. As a health IT and writer, privacy and safety are my main concerns, and you get both with the "Shay" properties. This location is very convenient for shopping and outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this location for single travelers and couples.'

'Location is fantastic. Elderly or disabled would be different due to stairs and entry doorways. It is like having a personal apartment to come back to. Plenty of room to relax and so close to shops and dining/coffee. Would stay again!'

'We had a a wonderful time staying at Lake Roberts over Christmas! The wilderness setting and surrounding landscapes were amazing. Our room was cozy, comfortable and artfully decorated. Although the property could use a few upgrades, it was very clean and equipped with most of what we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.'

'The host was very timely in responding. When we arrived, the house was very clean, well taken care of and had plenty of space. We will definitely be back during the summer to spend tome at the lake. It was a couple of minutes to the lake. Absolutely loved this place and would recommend staying here.'
