'The best place to stay on Skiathos! Room was wonderful, with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchenette, and lovely balcony with a view of the sea. It was a 30 second walk to a beach with gorgeous turquoise water in addition to a 25 minute walk into town. I can’t say enough great things about the staff who not only were super helpful with the check in and transfer from the port to the hotel, but drove me back to the port for my early ferry when leaving. 'The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra.'

'Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. '

'A stay at Strawberry is a sweet experience. Margarita was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you. The Pension is spotless, pool lovely and quiet and breakfast each day had plenty of choices. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. Plenty of wonderful restaurants literally on the doorstep. And don’t bother with the journey to Koukanaries…Paraskevi Beach is just across the road and very relaxing with plenty of amenities. Bus stop is a few hundred yards away, too. 'Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean.'

It has probably the best view over the sea and we saw some incredible sunrises over Skopelos.Katerina is such a warm and kind person that we constantly felt well an comfortable. Overall a perfect vacation on a great island with a beautiful accommodation. '

'We had a lovely stay at Anthena apartments. Spotlessly clean- well equipped. Close to main area with plenty shops and bars and restaurant’s close by. Rannia and Stavros excellent hosts- such a lovely couple. Would definitely stay again! '

'A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. '

'The room is big. We are booking a big room with 2 twins beds. The unit has washer machine and clothes drying rack outside of the room. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Everything is walking distance. There's only 1 strip down to the port and beach.'

'a.m. Great Host! We had a really great time. Check in was fast en efficiënt and check out was also good. Good breakfast, great pool and great appartements. Would love to stay here again! Only downside is the hill to the studios, but it is worth it. And your in 10 minutes downtown at the harbour.'

'I was only here for an overnight stay before catching the ferry to Skopolos. I arrived late evening and was greeted with a friendly smile and lots of helpful information to help me find dinner. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy and quiet. I’ll have to say longer next visit. '

'We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Ano Gatzea. Het huis is bijzonder sfeervol en voorzien van twee terrassen met geweldig uitzicht over de baai van Volos. Veel privacy. Uitstekend vertrekpunt voor leuke wandelingen op het schiereiland Pelion. Uitgebreide map met wandelingen en kaarten aanwezig in het huis. Een huurauto zou ik hier wel aanbevelen. Wij komen zeker terug!'
