'Stayed here about a week with my brother and I must say this was a fantastic choice. Located less than 5 minutes away from the Gojo train station, it is right next to alot of amenities so you can walk or commute to wherever you need to get. 'It was raining heavily the day that we arrived at Kyoto and our original room had a bit of a musty smell to it. Once we brought it up to the front desk, the manager was so helpful and accommodating and was able to move us to a different room. They even bought us a cake to apologize for the inconvenience which is service we are not typically used to in the US. 'One of the best hotels we stayed at in Japan. The front desk staff were so friendly, polite, and helpful. Truly exceptional service. The room was spotless, amenities were top quality, and the location was perfect. Also, the shampoo and conditioner were amazing, best I’ve ever used! I’d love to know the brand.
