We really liked our stay at Dubná Skala. The location is perfect with a walking distance to the Main Square with all the restaurants and to 3 big malls. We liked the whole atmosphere and how nicely renovated it was. I also had one of the best massages in the spa. Remember to ask for Babroka.

Great Stay
Good value for money. Easy Check in. Helpful staff. Room clean and in good condition. Nice breakfast with lots of choice. Close to the centre, good parking facilities. Shower was a little awkward due to the ceiling slope and no screen so water went everywhere, but not the biggest of problems and didn't spoil the stay.

Guter kurzer Aufenthalt. Nette Belegschaft, freundlich und auskunftsbereit. Leider war Restaurant schon um 20:30 geschlossen, ist wohl der Covid19-Situation geschuldet. Parkplatz ist kein Problem, wenn man den Eingang kennt.

Location of this property is excellent, but I would not stay in this hotel in summer time when running of AC is needed because only Fan is running and AC was activated per my request during prior stay. (Management manipulate with AC to save money). Therfore in summer time I would recommend to stay in Holiday Inn.

Boutique hotel in Zilina
I guess this is a fairly new hotel in Zilina. It's well located lose to the train station and just off the main square behind a large modern shopping centre. The staff were welcoming with people with good English on reception. The rooms are a good size and comfortable with air conditioning.The dining room in the basement is gloomy with no natural light but food is good with polite and attentive service. I didn't have breakfast as I had an early train to catch. Good value.

A room was clean and large. Somehow the towel in use was not replaced with a new one, so I dropped it on the floor clearly. Reception service is particularly good. It was better if there was a coin laundry for long-term stay.

We have also great restaurant named Dubná Skala, where you can enjoy delicious à la carte dishes cooked with love of first-class ingredients. The hotel is also suitable for conferences, business meetings or family celebrations.

It's one of the worst hotels I've stayed in... This hotel is with all offered services a maximum 3 *** price of non-quality. I paid for the room 180 € I had the biggest apartment, furniture was old and damages so I cant imagine how looks apartment in lower level. STAY AWAY - Worst Breakfast ever experienced. I can honestly say that I have never experienced any 4-star hotel quite like this. Can't recommend a stay here more!

Nie mehr, es gibt bessere Hotels in Zilina
Nach dem ewigen suchen eines freien Hotelparkplatzes war das Checkin eine endlose Tortur bis die Reservation gefunden wurde, gebuchtes Zimmer nicht mehr vorhanden, konnten als Hotelgäste nichts mehr im Hotelrestaurant essen da alles anderweitig besetzt war und das Frühstück war ein Witz. Wer trotzdem dort bucht unbedingt ohne Frühstück! Das Zimmer selber war zwar sehr abgenutzt aber sauber und geräumig. Trotzdem ist die Bezeichnung “gehobenes Hotel“ in der Ausschreibung ein Hohn.

Honest feedback
Room we stayed in was comfortable however air conditioning didn't work. Bar frigde was very small. Toothpaste and toothbrush was missing in the bathroom. We had nice dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was disappointing. Rotten apple, cucumber was served.... no milk in the jars, choice of breakfast was very limited. For 4 star hotel it was disappointing.

“Poor Service, Noisy Rooms, Not a 4-Star Hotel”
We booked this hotel for a 2-night NYE romantic getaway. Check in: We arrived around 6.30pm and had to get the receptionist's attention to check us in. She made no eye contact whatsoever and didn't smile at all. She went through the check in procedure but didn't ask us any questions or offer us any advice on local attraction or even hotel facilities such as the spa. Also, I found it very unusual that we were asked to pay in full up front. In 99% of hotels you pay your bill upon checkout. Also, we went out for a jog the next morning and when we came back, we were asked to pay our room service bill from the previous night which I find absolutely ridiculous. Room: The room is quite nicely laid out - I would rate it as a decent 3-star room. Certainly nothing exceptional. Maid service: The maid came to make up our room while we were away but she literally did the bare minimum - threw our bed sheets back on the bed and left. She didn't even bother changing the sheets or replacing our towels with fresh ones. She didn't even fold the towels. She also left a piece of rubbish outside our room door. Spa: The spa was excellent, really nice and cosy and clean. However I ordered two fresh grapefruit juices and we got juice from a carton. Bar / food: We ordered food to our room but the guy at the bar messed up the order and didn't bring us what we wanted to my girlfriend went downstairs to complain. To be fair, they replaced the food and knocked the room service fee off o

Good hotel, great location but for non English
Everything was good, but the hotel staff should have a better training. Employees do not speak good English which is important for tourists. Check in took to long and the staff in the bar was not very friendly. The bar was open until 23:00 and we went there 22:30 for some beer after we arrived until they close. We were told that we can only drink until 22:45 in a non friendly way and they only had 2 bottles of cold beer. This is really amateur way to run a hotel. Big minus: The bar allows smoking! For us a no go!
