Friendly staff, excellent breakfast with great options, tea and coffee, hot chocolate. Area is Walkable, shuttle that can be pre requested from train station , or easy walk through cute streets with multiple shops. Kitchen equipped with family needs, spacious bathroom and bedrooms.

This was a nice single room and served my purpose well. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t the place but for the price and the time I was there the room and the staff were great.

All the staff (especially Nico, Danielle and Maria) were very helpful, knowledgable and kind. It's a family owned hotel and the owners continually checked in with the guests. The rooms are clean. We had a lovely view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The TV is on the smaller side but we didn't even switch it on so we didn't care. We only ate dinner at the hotel once but it was very good. The location is a quick 5-7 minute walk to the main street and a few minutes from the bus route to the ski lifts. They also have a ski room which makes things convenient.

Likes: Nico at Front Desk was excellent, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfasts; Comfortable bed; View of Matterhorn; Place to store skiis. Shuttle to/from train station. Needs Improvement: Rooms did not have refrigerator/microwave/sink/coffee machine/ forks/knives/plates; No thermostat to control room temperature- very hot and very dry. Suggestions:Far from ski lifts - addtional $12 cost each way for taxi. Maybe provide a shuttle for ski lifts.

Very satisfied with our stay at Jagerhof. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just wish that there were more counter space and hooks in the bathroom. The restaurant served delicious meals. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet with good selections. Would stay there again!

Que acierto tan grande…fue la experiencia más mágica del mundo. También tomamos la media permisión y fue la mejor decisión. La cena y desayunos estaban a otro nivel, riquísimos. El servicio y la amabilidad del personal que aquí trabaja es excepcional, te hacen sentir en casa. Está cerca de todo!! Caminando llegas a todos lados en unos 10 o 15 minutos. Nice cottage hotel, clean and spacious for family. The only short coming is the location is far off from the Main Street, 15min walking distance. Hotel provided free shuttle car to pick up and drop off to/from zermatt train station. For drop off, you are required to inform in advance to avoid late rushing for your train schedule as sometime the shuttle could have fully booked during peak season.

Incredible welcome ,views from the room were outstanding, extremely convenient ,ten minute walk to the railway station (gornergrat bahnhof) and to glacier paradise cable car ,cannot recommend Daniella and the staff enough .if i had to find any negative at all ,its that theres no tea/coffe/kettle in the room ,but there's plentiful coffee downstairs in the lounge .wholeheartedly recommended ,we'll be back!

An amazing hotel.. The staff was outstanding- friendly and courteous- we had four adults and had a family room .. two very comfortable beds in a very nice room .. Breakfast was so good - a big variety of food and very very good ! Highly recommend this hotel !!! So glad we stayed here

The check in was so smooth and Nico gave us good information on how to get around the area. Breakfast is also good and the room (we reserved room for 3 adults) is bery modern and spacious. There were kids that are a bit noisy in the corridor around 10pm but other than that all is well.

Hotel was a few minutes walk from town centre/rail stn. Easy to find once you get used to the winding Zermatt streets. There is a phone at rail stn with all hotel no.s to ring for a pickup lift to hotel. Staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. My single room was compact but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Could do with a small kettle in the room. Did not like some guests taking photos and videos at breakfast.

Family holiday
We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. Nico at reception was very helpful and nice as was every staff member we came into contact with. Breakfast had a wonderful assortment of food.
