  • Les emplacements ne viennent pas mieux que cela. La vue sur le front ouest de York Minster est à couper le souffle et l’un des plus beaux de la ville.

    Cet appartement au premier étage est situé dans le développement paisible de Purey Cust. Un endroit idéal pour se détendre et pourtant se trouve à quelques pas de toutes les attractions de la ville.

    Le salon décloisonné est l’endroit idéal pour se détendre avec son grand canapé, sa télévision LCD, son lecteur DVD Blu-Ray et sa télévision par câble Virgin. Le canapé peut également être converti en un lit pour accueillir les invités occasionnels.

    La salle à manger peut accueillir 6 personnes pour le dîner et est complétée par une cuisine haut de gamme dotée de surfaces de travail en granit, de plaques de cuisson à gaz et d'une cafetière.

    La chambre principale dispose d’un luxueux lit king-size et d’une salle de bains complète avec douche à l’italienne. Il y a aussi une télévision dans la chambre avec télévision par câble Virgin.

    La chambre double dispose également de la télévision, de la télévision par câble avec chaînes Virgin et de meubles de qualité.

The Brierley

Exceptional! The apartment is first class; a real home from home. It is fully equipped with quality equipment - everything one could possibly want or need for a stay of what ever length. It is situated in a quiet location with stunning views of The Minster and within very easy reach of the city’s shops and eateries. This was our third visit and we have already booked again for next year.

Marvelous Minster Views

Wonderful location, parking was great. Apartment was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable, everything you would need was there.

Brilliant location

This is a lovely apartment in a wonderful location. You can see the Minster from the lounge and the bells ringing on a Sunday morning are memorable. There are lots of restaurants and bars. We would recommend the Forest and the Ivy. You need to book wherever you go.

relaxation

my wife and i had a lovely stay i would recommend the brierly as a great place to stay when visiting york the decorating needs to be refreshed as it has to keep to the standards of local residents who maintain their property,s to a high standard but i do intend to go back also it was great to know our car was safe and secure in car park .

Better than we expected. Flat good size and great view from main living area. Ideal location for the city. Great to have secure parking. Quite area very relaxing stay. We would stay again.

Great Apartment

I've been to York many times now and stayed in apartments around the city but I must say this one tops the lot. I have to give it 10/10. As soon as my daughter and I entered it was very homely and all of the above that I have tick off. Yes I would definitely recommend 100%. Many thanks to the owner for letting us stay.

Second stay as good as the first.

Excellent location with dedicated parking in the heart of York. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well provided. The only criticisms are that it is lacking a full length mirror and non-slip mats in the showers, and the mattresses have soft edges which make you feel like rolling out of bed.

Beautiful apartment in wonderful location

We have stayed at The Brierley several times over the years and keep going back because of the excellent location, offering secure parking, the comfort and cleanliness. The Minster bells on Sundays have to be heard to be believed - wonderful! The only negative comment I have is that several of the window frames are now showing their age and need some repair/repainting but this didn't detract from our enjoyment of another excellent visit.

We love the Brierley. Our third visit and it won't be our last! Great location in centre of York with own private parking. The apartment is well fitted out with good quality fixtures and fittings and has everything you could need, apart from a full length mirror!! Which we overlook as it offers everything else we want.

Great York Location

The location is superb. The facility is great. The only problems for us was a lack of clear directions for 1) using the washing machine - who knew you had to slam the door to get it to work; 2) directions for running the dishwasher; 3) turning on the TV - had to have the "York Stays" rep come over to help figure that one out, plus let us know the slamming secret for the washing machine. Other than these specific issues, we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location

This was our second visit to this property. We love it! Tucked away behind York Minster with it's own secure parking space it's the ideal place to be in York. Everything is easily accessible on foot from it so no need to move the car. The apartment is on the first floor but stairs are new, wide and easy to negotiate. Inside it is well equipped with good quality furnishings and equipment.

Comfortable apartment and great location

Right next to York Minster, a beautiful first floor apartment with quality furnishings and fittings. We loved the beds and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. Televisions in the bedrooms didn't work but we had no time to use them anyway. Definitely recommend.

The Brierley

Our third stay here! Such a lovely homely apartment. Excellent location right next to the Minster. Excellent safe parking within a gated car park - you can see the car from the apartment. Small things that need to be addressed: the double bed is a beautiful sleigh bed but needs a new mattress. There is a bit of a drain smell around the bedrooms/bathrooms. The sofa isn’t terribly comfortable. Having said that we love it here and will return.

Another great stay

We have stayed at The Brierley several times and always enjoyed it. The location, with safe, gated parking, is superb. The apartment is tastefully decorated and all furnishings, appliances and household goods are of a high quality. The property has always been cleaned to a high standard but, on both the last time we stayed here in 2024 and again this year, we were disappointed at the state of the windows in the sitting room, which were very dirty on the outside. This is no doubt in part due to ongoing building works in nearby properties. As one of the major selling points of this property is the amazing views of the Minster, it was a shame about the partially obscured view, especially with the sunshine showing up every bit of dirt.

Excellent location in York with parking.

We recently had our second stay here. It is a generously sized flat overlooking the frontage of the Minster. We pre booked and visited all the major attractions with a simple 5-10 minutes max walk from the accommodation. It is well furnished and the kitchen has every modern/traditional gadget you would ever need. I am pleased to see the main bedroom now has side table. There are so many good places to eat within a very short walk. It backs onto a couple of pubs, one had a live music night while we were there. The good thing was we didn’t get disturbed by the pubs or music at all, unlike the brewery delivery early morning. Sadly there were also builder totally renovating the house opposite who started up heavy machinery at 8am and then tree surgeons on the other side of the flat cutting the trees. Having said all that it is usually a peaceful place to stay. I would suggest the windows really need some maintenance and a really good window clean.

Potential to be 5* but falls short

Apartment is in a beautiful location and building. Excellent secure parking. Peaceful and very quiet. Spacious apartment which has a lovely atmosphere. Two of the three smart televisions did not work despite the agent trying solve the problem. No full length mirror. Had to be careful in shower as there was no anti slip mat. The seal along the bottom of the shower screen in baththroom was very dirty. Items on kitchen window sill covered in dust. No user instructions for kitchen appliances and TV's No obvious switch for the standard lamps, thought they needed new bulbs. Eventually found the switch on the wall at the opposite end of the room. Couch is pilled and bit tired and the throw had hairs on it. Welcome pack very poor, 4 tea bags, 2 coffee bags, sachets of milk and 2 small packs of biscuits which were stale. Wrong Wi-Fi code in details emailed a few days before we arriived. As such spent an hour trying to get the Wi-Fi to work. Overall not as advertised and not value for money.

Excellent apartment and location.

Really fantastic apartment with a superb view of the minster and easy to walk everywhere. Having an allocated parking space was also a real bonus. Everything in the apartment is top quality and really comfortable beds. The only minor problem was there was no cafetiere as listed and Stays York didn’t follow up on this after our request to provide one. Highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful flat great location. Having parking was really great. View of Minster was bonus.

This is a second visit. Positives are the position to York centre, seeing and hearing the Minster. Flat was beautiful, comfy beds. Big lounge/diner/kitchen. Own parking space but no electric charger. Needs teaspoons in kitchen which i mentioned after last visit, also bath tap/plug still is leaking after use. These are minor things. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
