A large, well equipped fitted dining kitchen on the ground floor, with patio doors to a small paved terrace area. Upstairs is a large landing with a desk and seating, a large sitting room with tv and an electric stove and comfortable seating, with lovely views to the White Horse on the Hambleton Hills. All three bedrooms have double beds and ensuite bathrooms. Easingwold is the nearest small town (about 3 miles away) with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, banks etc. There are many good pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area for those in need of a rest from cooking. The village pub is the Plum & Partridge (01347)868642 and is a short walk from Colton Loft. Visitors also like the Fauconberg at Coxwold, the Carlton Inn at Carlton Husthwaite and the Durham Ox at Crayke. There are many places of interest to explore - by car, bike or on foot. A number of National Trust properties within a short drive as well as Castle Howard, a lovely place to visit for the whole family. Sorry, no pets allowed.
