'We enjoyed how close it was to the beach without being oceanfront'

'This hotel definitely meets the Hampton Inn standard I expected. There was plenty of parking space available even late in the evening. I liked the hot breakfast items such as roasted potatoes and mini omelets. Quick and easy drives to Southport and Oak Island beaches. I also saw an alligator in the pond near the parking lot. There are warning signs posted about the alligator so just watch them from a safe distance.'

'Only complain is elevator so slow.'
