The good:
The facility is newer and quite nice.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There's a lot of space in and around the lobby to gather with others and play games or socialize, and it's well used by guests.
Hotel staff seemed friendly, competent, and helpful.
The bad:
The rooms are small! We had a king room and it felt like it was a little smaller than our medium sized bedroom at home.
The bathroom fan ran continuously and efficiently. So efficiently that the bathroom was always cold, especially after a shower. There was no way to turn off the fan (no switch whatsoever) and I dreaded going to the bathroom for any reason - cold floors, cold air, and I'm always cold anyway. Hotel staff said they would check on the fan, but I never heard back, so I'm assuming they couldn't do anything about it.
The room heater was awful. It's controlled by a thermostat on the wall, and they would communicate back and forth with a series of very audible clicks. When the room got to the temp set at the thermostat, pray that it didn't go one degree over because then the air conditioning would kick on and blow icy air into the room until it reached the set temperature. This process repeated hundreds of times throughout the day and night.
The rooms have no carpeting, and apparently no insulation in the walls or floors, as both the outside wall and the floor near the outside wall felt like they were the temperature of the outside air (15-20 degrees during our stay).
