Goede en rustige ligging. Op wandelafstand van downtown. Maar Yakima (en de volledige valley) heeft niet veel te bieden. Daarom niet goedkoop voor een alles behalve toeristische plek.

zo zo....
Een erg overdreven beschrijving in de bevestigings mail! "bed met Select Comfort-matras, luxe beddengoed en katoenen lakens " bleek een normaal matras met een wollen dekentje van ongeveer dezelfde kwaliteit als waar mijn hond op slaapt...Wifi werkte niet en een koffiezet apparaat was niet aanwezig. het was er redelijk schoon en voor maar één nacht wel te doen maar daar is zowat alles mee gezegd

Room smelled of old disinfectant, walls, doors and needed painting. Bathroom door was particularly dirty. Fake wood floors had gum stuck to it. Sheets and towels were clean. Very thin quilt had cigarette burns in it.

Desk clerk very pleasant and easy to get along with. Overall it is ok, run down but everything works, small freezer in the fridge so we could refresh our ice packs, other guests seem respectable and we feel safe. Shopping mall nearby is a plus. The room itself has damage and I’m surprised they’d rent it out with a smashed in bathroom door and ripped out shower curtain rod. But it was inexpensive and we had a decent sleep.

Booked this hotel so i could get some sleep coming off the highway. Despite having a confirmed booking, i showed up and the office was locked and noone inside. So i rang the ring doorbell and waited 5 minutes. Nothing. In the meantime someone clearly high on something was zombie walking first out front on the sidewalk, then onto the property searching around each room door for something. He wanders off then comes back with a plastic bag to collect whatever it is he finds. After waiting for several minutes for someone to answer the ring doorbell with no luck... i call the property, twice. Nothing. I then get in contact with expedia who was helpful in getting a refund started, but that will apparently still take 7-10 days. This was at 1 am but if you're right off the freeway and take reservations at 12:45 i would expect you would have someone to finish checking you in. I would highly recommend NOT staying here regardless of when you check in as the neighborhood and building is sketchy.

From the exterior, the grounds and building appeared well kept enough. Unfortunately the internal condition of the building was tremendously disappointing. (1) First off…There was a strong stench of stale cigarette smoke in the Lobby. (2) When we attempted to enter our assigned room, the key did not work to unlock the door. Then when we entered room, it was not ready for occupancy…The sheets on the beds had cigarette burn holes and burn stains on them. There were no blankets on the beds or in the room at all. The shower rod was removed and lying across the coat rack with the shower curtain in a heap. (3) We called the front desk and the attendant was very apologetic and assigned us to a different room. (4) Upon entry of the second room…It was disappointing. (5) There was broken and missing electrical switch and plug covers. (6) There were 2 holes in the bathroom door. (7) There was graffiti on the bathroom wall, (8) Large areas of Sheetrock and paint was missing in various places. (9) The place was dirty. There were greasy hand smears over the entry door, the walls and flooring was dirty. (10) Overall, the place was deplorable. We felt like we had to have shoes on the protect our feet from filthy floors and hung our hand towel on the coat rack rather than lay it on the icky counter top. (11) No Breakfast as advertised We toughed it out and stayed 1 night because it was late at night and due to a State Basketball Tournament, rooms around town were now hard to find.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and prompt! They also easily accommodated an earlier checkout than what I initially booked for. My room appeared to be decent on first glance, but I then noticed that the floor had not been vacuumed or mopped at all. I found dust, dirt, hair/fur, and even a few pieces of pet kibble on the floor. I didn’t go in with high expectations for a budget motel, but to me, the condition of the room did not feel like it met the bare minimum for how clean a hotel should be. I checked out the next morning, and again, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and accommodating of the change. So at least there’s that. All told, I still can’t in good conscience recommend that anyone books here though, not until cleanliness is held to a higher standard.

This place is very inexpensive, which we loved. The staff at the front desk was very nice. BUT the room smelled like old plumbing, paint was chipped through the room, drawing on the walls, the refrigerator was dirty and the sink was leaking. BUT there weren’t any bed bugs and it was nice quiet and cheap.

Construction was going on around motel. Equipment was noisy. No door on small freezer inside refrigerator. Aerator on the sink was patched with a piece of screen so water sprayed everywhere. No plug for bathtub. Water from bathtub dripped 24/7. No place to hang up any clothes. 1 chair and no table. Mattresses kept sliding around on wooden base. This is one Motel 6 I will not stay at again.

The gentleman that checked me in was very nice and curtious. Now i know what to expect for a budget motel and my expectations are not very high. I juat wanted a good nights sleep. Which i did not receive. As there were worker next door playing music extremely loud. When i went to the office to see if they could give me another room for the remainder of my stay, no one would answer the bell. So i just left. As i just wanted to be able to sleep for the rest of my stay. I have since messaged them with no response to that either. SO IF YOU JUST WANT SLEEP, THIS MAY NOT BE THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!

Horrific Motel 6 in Yakima
Checked in at the front desk and while checking in, my 11 year old boy put his head down on the counter and I told him not to do that and the gentleman at the counter stated “your dad is right, you shouldn’t put your face on the counter, because I only clean it every other day”. That was strike one. We went into the room walking in you could smell mildew and it was very, not cleaned. I wouldn’t let my kids sit on the beds. Then I looked at the tv and the coaxial cable that attached to the back of the tv, was ripped out of the tv. Strike 2. I should have known before I went into the office to check in, that this place was not a good place to stay, because there were multiple cars in the lot, that appeared to be broke down. And clothes hanging off the rail of the second floor. Strike 3. I spent 10 minutes on property and turned my card keys into the office and told the guy behind the counter that we were leaving, which sucked, because I had spent $115 to stay at this place because I thought it was a legit place to stay. Horrible experience at the Motel 6. Hotel looks and feels like an apartment complex in the slums.

When I arrived around 1:30 AM the front desk was empty. No where does it say to ring the Ring doorbell for assistance. The place was full of shady people walking around at that time. There was a person "leaf blowing" at the business next door.... at 1:30 AM. I tried calling every hotel in town thinking I couldn't check into this one and everyone was full. Luckily some ladies checked in and I figured out how to get in. The guy just gave me keys without checking anything which I figured I probably was the last person there. On my way to my room some guys in a minivan slowly followed me through the parking lot, staring the entire time. When I got into my room it wreaked of cigarette smoke, I tried to air it out but I think the smoke was stuck in the ac unit and/or the tenant below smokes in their room. The sheets had not been cleaned (there was obvious body fluid and hair on them), the toilet hadn't been scrubbed in months, it appeared nothing had been deep cleaned in quite some time. just a quick wipe down. The remote had dirt caked on, I used hand sanitizer and a wash cloth to clean it. Thank GOD I had all of my camping gear to set up in that room. Also around 4 am someone was knocking at my door. I checked out the next morning. The man who checked me out was SO nice and understanding, he refunded the last night plus gave a discount for the first night. I should have known it was going to be a disaster by the cheap rates. Lesson learned.

Disgusting
The room smelled like pee and poop plus something else. The floor was dirty. Looked like there was blood on the floor. The walls were dirty. Streaked with something. The fridge had dead flies in it. Microwave had food slatted. Bathroom smelled like someone peed all over it. Mold on the ceiling. A needle with thread was on the foot towel. This place was disgusting!! We had someone knock on the door asking to buy drugs. I’m not sure how it’s rated at 6.8. It’s should be a 2. The room had writing on the wall and blanket too. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.

Managers were friendly and helpful. However, this is not a motel- it is primarily a long-term residence. There is no housekeeping, the beds are poor, and the linens were stained and had holes from previous cigarette burns. The outside areas were dirty and run down.
