Wye Dream - Wye River Beach House - 200 metres to beach!
Affordable Family Friendly Accommodation & just 15 mins. along the Great Ocean Road from Lorne. Wye Dream is a classic older style beach house (it used to be the Surf Life Saving Club Bunkhouse), we love it & so will you, with open plan living area/kitchen, a wood fire and two decks both with views of the waves.
Comfortable lounge with Plasma TV & toy box for the kids.
Upstairs are two bedrooms with bush and sea views. The larger bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunks & trundle bed, and the second bedroom has a queen size bed.
Everything is within easy walking distance, only a 100 metres to the beach and The General Store (great coffee)and a further 100 metres to the Wye River Pub. You can leave the car in the driveway and forget about parking problems.
Great for a family or two couples. Leave the busy city behind and relax in this spacious 2 bedroom beach house. Take a deep breath watch the waves roll in, look for Koalas in the trees & remember what life is really about !

Wye River Dream
Beautiful property in great location, easy walking distance to the gorgeous beach, cafe & Pub. House has everything you need and two lovely balconies. We were even visited by a family of Kookaburras! Hosts were very helpful. Would love to come back sometime.

Great getaway
We loved our stay at Wye Dream! The property is exceptionally clean and well positioned near the General Store and Pub. 15 minutes to Lorne. Not much privacy though as properties are all around and if you don't have the blinds down, if people are staying in the property right in front can see right into the house. Also, an air conditioner would be a great addition for when it is a hot day. Definitely would stay again though :)

It was so lovely to walk in and feel at home. There was heaps of space to make our family so relaxed & comfortable. Loved that we could be at the beach in just over a minute bare foot walk. Only wish our stay was longer.

Pre Xmas getaway at Wye river
Lovely comfortable house with great deck to enjoy the Seaview & breeze, with all that you could possibly need. Great location with easy walk to beach, walking track, cafe & pub. Very relaxing.

Relax amongst the trees
We loved our stay. We made lots of use of the fire place/oven, it goes really well. There are sea views and lots of sea sounds (waves). Large modern kitchen, large veranda with large Weber BBQ and generally heaps of space. Beach, bush walking and modern fancy pub are just a minutes walk away.

We had a great time at Wye Dream. Plenty of space for everyone, easy walking to the beach and General Store. Our 4 year old was very entertained by the large toy box! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic for families
The property is located withing easy walking distance to the store and the pub.
The house itself is great for families. The bedroom with the bunk beds doesn't have blinds on the too windows so it made it a bit difficult for my 5yr old to go to bed at his normal time. Other than that, it was great. We went at a very chilly time and welcomed the log fire as there is no other heating upstairs. The log fire does a great job of heating the house.
Would love to come back and enjoy wye river in the warmer weather. It was a really lovely break for us all.

Great beach house in Wye River
Lovely older style property with plenty of character and great views. Everything you need for a great weekend, close to the beach, general store, playground for kids and the pub which does fantastic meals with also equally good views of the beach and ocean. Very relaxing location and comfy house. The wood fire was very welcome as it was a bit chilly outside. Well stocked kitchen. Most of all we loved the outside deck area where you could feed seed to lots of different birds that visited us morning and evening, while taking in the view and listening to the waves crashing.
