The Space:
Gunyah by Tiny Away is a charming, pet-friendly accommodation in the heart of Wyangala, just two hours from Canberra, NSW. At our cozy tiny home, you can unwind by the fire pit or venture out for a bit of adventure — there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Spend a day fishing at Wyangala Dam, just 15 minutes away, or take a scenic 20-minute drive to Cowra to explore its renowned Japanese Gardens and other local attractions.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home, and all 6 km of marked tracks, including both main and side tracks. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for those who wish to drive up the mountain for better views.
NOTICE: A flying fox installation is also planned for the near future.

Gunyah by Tiny Away sits in the heart of Wyangala, only two hours from Canberra, and is the perfect base for outdoor adventure. Just 15 minutes away, the mighty Wyangala Dam—2.5 times the size of Sydney Harbour—offers endless fishing opportunities.
Looking to explore? Head 20 minutes down the road to Cowra and lose yourself in the beauty of the Japanese Gardens or uncover the stories of the region’s rich history.
Getting Around:
By car:
- The easiest way to reach Revelstone Mountain Camps is by car. Simply enter "Wyangala" into your GPS or navigation app to get the most accurate directions, distance, and travel time. From there, you’ll be just a short drive away from the camps.
By public transport:
- Please note that there is no train service to Cowra or Wyangala. The only way to reach Revelstone Mountain Camps is by private transport.
Other Things to Note:
- Child-friendly
- Potable water is provided
- No uninvited guests or visitors allowed
- Always lock the front gate after entering or leaving
- Outdoor fire pits are available, except during total fire bans
- Please ensure the fire pit is fully extinguished before departure
- Telstra and Optus provide weak signal; Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have no reception
- Firewood is available. You may collect your own or purchase by the tub
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Smoking is not permitted inside the tiny home; allowed outside only. Please ensure cigarette butts are fully extinguished and disposed of in a bin.
Important note:
- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
