"Decent little apartment, clean, comfortable. Perfectly good for a couple of days stay. You've got to bring everything except salt and pepper if you want to cook, but everything seemed to work OK. Managed to time our arrival for the exact moment the local farmers were muck spreading, which made the first afternoon a bit unpleasant on the nostrils, but that's hardly the venue's fault. "

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"Once again Emma provided us w8th all that we could have asked for, from booking out atay to communication throughout until we arrived. The accommodation is just ideal for what we wanted and remembered from last year. "The property was absolutely freezing. It felt like the heating hadn't been on for ages and after we switched it on it never really got to a suitable temperature. We have a small child so travel with a thermometer and after the heating had been on for forty minutes the temperature in the front bedroom was only 7°C. Terrible night's sleep due to the temperature. Also dirty in places."

"We stayed for two nights in the pig pod. It was extremely comfortable and cosy. Children loved the built in bunk beds. Great location with wonderful views and quick access to the heart of the lakes. Enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Wonderful stay and will visit again."

"Lovely building and location - out of the busy but not too far! Nicely decorated and furnished albeit it does feel like a walk if you’re in one of the 400+ numbered rooms! Ate in the brasserie one evening food was good but the battered fish, whilst plentiful, was maybe a bit “soggy”. The breakfasts were excellent and if you don’t see anything you like then maybe best stay at home! Room was huge as was the comfy bed. A lot of new staff learning the ropes ahead of the peak season but can’t fault...
