WHO IT'S FOR

Remote workers get a dedicated desk and high speed internet, and longer stays are welcome. THE HOME

Two full floors connected by an interior staircase give a large group room to spread out without losing each other. The main level is bright and open, with hardwood floors, a large living room, the kitchen and a 3-season sunroom. The lower level has knotty pine walls and a northwoods cabin feel, and it is where most groups end up at night.

MAIN LEVEL

The main living room has a queen sofa bed, a 75-inch TV with soundbar and an electric fireplace set in stone that gives off real heat. In winter, it makes the main floor a warm, quieter spot to unwind while the game room gets loud downstairs. Large windows look out into the pines.

The kitchen has knotty pine cabinets under a skylight, a full-size gas range with griddle, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It is fully equipped for cooking for a big group. The dual-brew coffee maker takes K-cups or ground coffee, and a reverse osmosis tap at the sink gives you purified drinking water, so there is no need to buy bottled water. The dining table seats four to six and the bar adds three stools.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and is steps from the shared hall bathroom. Both have TVs, and having both rooms on the same floor works well for two couples or grandparents who want their own space.

The bathrooms have walk-in showers, and one has a tub. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer are provided, along with bath and hand towels and separate gray towels for the hot tub. The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer with detergent, plus an iron and ironing board, so you can run a load of towels anytime.

The 3-season sunroom has cathedral ceilings with pine paneling and floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, with nothing but tall pines in view. It seats up to eight for meals or games. It is not heated, but it stays usable through the winter depending on the weather. On a sunny day, a blanket and a hot coffee are all you need. For group meals in the colder months, plan on the dining table and bar. The upper deck and gas grill are right outside.

LOWER LEVEL

The game room doubles as the second living area and is where movie and game nights happen, with a reclining sectional, a 75-inch TV with soundbar, Star Wars Return of the Jedi and Pac-Man arcade games, a foosball table and board games. French doors open to the lower patio, so it works as its own hangout while others are upstairs.

Bedroom 3 is over 33 feet long and holds a full bed, a twin trundle with two twin sleeping surfaces and a futon, plus its own TV. It works well for kids or teens. The two rollaway beds can be set up here or anywhere else in the home, and their sheets are stored with them. A travel crib and high chair are also available. A full bathroom sits on this level, steps from Bedroom 3, the sauna and the hot tub.

Bedroom 3 also holds the dedicated workspace, with an adjustable-height standing desk and office chair, and high speed internet covers the whole home.

The private hot tub sits on the covered, screened lower porch. The screens keep it open to the outdoors, so winter soaks mean cold air and hot water. The infrared sauna is steps away on the same level, which makes it easy to go back and forth.

OUTDOOR

The upper deck off the sunroom has the gas grill and outdoor seating. The lower patio opens off the French doors. The stone fire pit sits in the middle of the wooded acre with six Adirondack chairs and firewood, and a s'mores kit is stocked inside. The fire pit is open all year. On milder winter days, get a fire going; in the coldest stretch of January, most groups stick to the hot tub and sauna.

DOGS

Up to 3 well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome, with a pet fee per dog added at booking. The wooded acre gives you plenty of room for walks. The lot is not fenced, so plan to keep dogs leashed or supervised outside, and please keep dogs off the furniture.

ACCESS AND PARKING

The entire two-level home is yours, including both living areas, the kitchen, all three bedrooms, the game room, sauna, screened hot tub porch, upper deck, lower patio, yard and fire pit. The garage and the lower-level utility rooms are locked and not accessible to guests.

Check-in is self check-in with a smart lock, and your code is sent before arrival. The driveway fits up to 6 vehicles, and street parking on the cul-de-sac is allowed if you need extra room.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in a rural part of Wisconsin Dells, set back from the road with tall pines on all sides. It feels tucked away, but downtown is only about 12 minutes by car, where Broadway has restaurants, shops, boat tours, mini golf and the Riverwalk. The big waterpark resorts, including Kalahari, Wilderness and Great Wolf Lodge, are about 20 to 25 minutes away, and their indoor waterparks are open all year. In winter, Christmas Mountain Village has skiing about 25 minutes from the house. A car is needed, as there is no public transit in the area.

GOOD TO KNOW

Stairs: The two levels are connected by an interior staircase, with bedrooms on both floors. Guests with limited mobility should plan for stairs.

TVs: The TVs are Roku smart TVs with no cable. Sign in to your own streaming accounts. Logins are cleared after every stay.

Cameras and monitoring: Exterior security cameras cover the driveway and backyard only. There are no cameras inside the home. Minut noise and occupancy monitors are in the main living room, the lower-level living area and the lower-level area by the sauna. They measure sound levels and occupancy only and do not record audio.

Well and septic: The home is on a private well and septic system, so only toilet paper can be flushed.

Winter and the woods: The home sits on an unfenced wooded acre with uneven ground. In winter, expect snow and ice on the steps, decks and the path to the fire pit, and a vehicle that handles snow is helpful. In warmer months, mosquitoes come with the woods. The property is treated regularly and bug spray is stocked inside.

Cell signal: Some carriers, including T-Mobile, have weak signal at the house. Turn on Wi-Fi calling once you connect to the home Wi-Fi, and load your directions while connected.

HOUSE RULES

Minimum age: The primary booking guest must be 25 or older.

Occupancy: Maximum overnight occupancy is 12 guests, and all guests must be listed on the reservation. No parties or events.

Quiet hours: 11pm to 7am. Please keep outdoor noise and music at a considerate level, and be mindful of neighbors when using outdoor spaces after dark.

Parking: The driveway fits up to 6 vehicles. Street parking on the cul-de-sac is allowed if needed.

Smoking: No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home or on the decks. Smoking is allowed outdoors only, away from the house.

Hot tub and sauna: Please shower before using the hot tub. No glass in or around the hot tub. Replace and latch the cover after each use. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Do not leave the sauna running unattended and follow the posted usage instructions.

Fire pit and grill: Never leave the fire pit unattended while burning, and put the fire out completely before going inside for the night. Turn off the propane valve on the grill after each use.

Well and septic: Only flush toilet paper, and avoid pouring grease down any drain.
