'Nice hotel at the right location of San Antonio. Just a few minutes from the river walk and a few steps from the Alamo. Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is good if you want breakfast burritos. The bar (all say happy hour) was a bit boring. Staff was friendly. The valet was pretty expensive, but that's the same at all hotels.'

'Groundfloor looks nice, but rooms are old and lifts are very small. No diner available, this can be bought in adjacent restaurant with the same name. We where told it has no affiliation with the hotel. Rooms are big but outdated and bathroom was also out of date and uncomfortable.'

'The location is the best part of this property and the only reason to stay here for the price. The staff is very friendly but for what they charge, there are much nicer options not too far away. The rooms we were in were in desperate need of an upgrade, as well as the plumbing. '

'Worst thing was the insane air fresher. I have no idea why anyone thinks that is acceptable. I could literally taste it and was basically suffocating in line and every day. The room was torn totally up and dirty. Tears in the seats, dirty bathtubs, paint was messed up, just looked generally very worn down for the cost and disappointing. The staff was fine.
