We had a wonderful time. Our plans to float the river were actually cancelled due to thunderstorms. The home had plenty alternatives to occupy our party of 12. Everything was clean, instructions clearly posted for any questions that came up, we really had a great time!

Fabulous House!

Our friend group of 25 years meets annually for a weekend get away. Everyone loved this house! It is 120 years old, but it is in excellent condition and beautiful! We were still noticing gorgeous details in all the rooms up until the last day. The view from the back of the house is spectacular. The game room is amazing, and we had so much fun playing shuffleboard and pool.

Fantastic family time

We rented the house for a place to be while my son and his new bride got married in San Marcos. The house was beautiful and plenty of room for everyone. My only concern was there were no dressers in the bedrooms to put our clothes away. We were there for nearly a week and would highly recommend. Definitely will look to booking this again if we head back to Hill country in Texas. The views were out of this world. It certainly was the icing on the cake to a very wonderful wedding with family.

Amazingly wonderful home

Property was very clean and much larger than I expected. Stayed with family and a friend with her husband and two grandchildren. I couldn’t say enough about this beautiful property and spectacular views. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had and we were impressed with their promptness.

It was a great house with amazing view. We were disappointed that the pool was not maintained (very cloudy water). We would have liked to have used it since the temps were in the nineties. If the pool would have been clean it would have definitely been a 5 star review.

Hill Country Awesomeness!

We booked our stay at Rimrock Ranch property, but due to a minor pool issue, we stayed at Bendigo Ranch. Our stay was fabulous and Shiloh with Vacation Property Masters provided outstanding service! Will definitely be back!

Family Escape

There were 3 generations of family, ages 11 months to 77 years, from Albuquerque, San Sntonio, Bulverde, and Boerne. We had a ball in the pool and game room. The kitchen was big enough for several of us to be cooking at once, and we cooked every day. Beds were very comfortable and AC worked great. As warned in advance, we did have 3 scorpion encounters, but we got them before they got us. We saw a porcupine the first night and a fix our second morning. We did not use the hot tub. The lid was full of rainwater on the half with the controls and the color of the water was not inviting, but the pool was great. The little ones loved the wading pool. Thanks for a great stay. Just an FYI, the beverage fridge in the pantry never seemed to get cool.

Perfect location for a Hill Country family reunion

We booked a trip with family from around the country to spend a long weekend in the Hill Country. This property was perfect. Centrally located with easy access to the rivers, Austin, New Braunfels, and Canyon Lake. The property also had plenty of room for all 9 people and enough onsite amenities that a few times we decided to just cancel plans and stay in. The home came fully stocked with supplies, and furniture/bedding was clean and comfortable. Communication with the property managers was easy and all information was provided promptly. I highly recommend this location and we wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

Amazing views

We had a great time, loved the character of the over 100yrs old house but with modern amenities. Also made great use of the pool, jacuzzi and especially the game room. But most of all the views are spectacular from all patios as well as most bedrooms. Had some small unwanted visitors in the house but got rid of them with broom and vacuum cleaner. This is normal in the hillcountry. Loved the property!

This place was awesome. Plenty of room for our party of 13. The pool and hot tub were so cool to enjoy on a hot day with one of the best views I’ve seen in central Texas. We wouldn’t look anywhere else if coming back to this area.

Gorgeous

The pictures do not do this house justice. Victorian but homey with a nice kitchen and bathrooms. The weather was cold so we couldn’t enjoy the backyard as much as we wished but the view was still awesome from inside.

Son's Wedding Weekend Stay With Family

Great home. We were a party of 12 and were very comfortable. The house is very clean. The bathrooms are new. The whole crew really enjoyed the swimming pool, the hot tub, and the fantastic game room.

The house was really cool for our kids. They have never been in a really old home before. The pool was really nice. And the location was great to get to the Lake, downtown Wimberly or to Gruene. The water tasted and smelled terrible, but we ate out a time or two and it was the same in those places, so it must just be the water there. The view is what it looks like on the pictures, fantastic! The bathroom downstairs is not convenient to the bedroom downstairs, that was not exactly accurate on the description. The house needs a good cleaning and the washing machine is a front load so it was really smelly. Other than that, this was a great place to stay for a few days with the family and a good location to whatever you are doing in the area.

1st Time Stay

Shiloh and the staff with Vacation Masters Properties were great. They accommodated our request for a 2:00 check-in even though they had eight other properties being checked into the same day. The view looking out at Devil's Backbone was beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Game room was a big hit with pool table, shuffle board, and poker table. Loved the pool. A good amount of comfortable lounge chairs were provided. Plenty of seating out by pool. House was built in 1905 so it's an amazing home. All bathrooms were updated. A/C's handled the heat quite well. We used the hot tub, gas grill and wood pit smoker. Charcoal and wood was provided. Overall, stay was a great experience for the family.
