There are not enough words to describe this place. The view from the porch is absolutely breathtaking. This is one of the nicest cabins that we have ever stayed at. The cabin is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hot tub worked just like it should. But the cabin itself was awesome and we can not wait to come back

Friends & I stayed at Cedar Vista during our girls trip. It was wonderful. The views were so beautiful, especially enjoyable from the large covered porch during our morning coffee/tea. I would bet the sunset views are also gorgeous, but we weren’t back at the cabin by that time each night. We felt far enough out of town but were close enough for easy day/evening outings to Wimberley & San Marcos, which are fabulous locations with plenty to do and great food options. We’d come back to the cabin in the evenings to relax in the beautiful space. The furniture is comfortable and the tv is large. This property is also clean with no strong scents. I did use the washer and dryer, both front loading - usable at the same time. All appliances look new and the ones we used are working perfectly. Contact responds in a timely manner when contacted for any reason, from weeks before arrival through check out. I’m saving the information for this property for possible future stays!

This cabin was wonderful for our family of four. We were visiting family in San Marcos and used this cabin as a place to stay that was close. It’s well decorated, cozy and in the absolute perfect location! If you like being secluded, this is the place for you. There is a house close by but you can’t see them.

50 Birthday celebration

This is our second time staying at this lovely cabin & property. The view is absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed most of our time out on the porch looking over the valley, having coffee , lunch , birdwatching, enjoing the hot tub … we did see a fox! Very relaxing.. the cabin is beautiful, clean, cozy and well stocked. There was one negative…on our first day stay when we arrived between 430 -5 there was a wedding going on very nearby, I believe at the Rimrock Lodge? which was quite loud and went on until about 11 pm , which takes away from the whole “getting away” feeling so I suggest & will myself check to make sure there is no wedding going on before I stay here again..

Perfection!

This home was possibly one of the best we have ever rented. For a long weekend for two Ladies, everything we needed was included, and then some. All details were accounted for which made it very easy for our stay. The view was also one of the major selling points for us. While it was cloudy during our stay, you still couldn’t beat the patio and the view. The proximity to Wimberley plaza also was very easy for daily shopping or dining. We will definitely be back to the area and this home would be our #1 preference.

Wonderful getaway

It was a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Everything from the cabin to the area was wonderful. We enjoyed everything about it. The views were amazing and the hot tub added that much more. Peaceful Property

A great location just minutes from Wimberley. This log cabin is a great place to get away and enjoy restful peace and quiet. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck while watching birds gliding through the hills and valleys just beyond. The hot tub was relaxing as well. There are two other properties near by but you couldn’t tell, we felt as if we were the only ones there. Definitely high on our places to return to!
