'The decor was ye olde memories of yesteryear. Also music. I’m fond of traditional but found it to be tacky and a bit gloomy. The room was tiny and the bathroom cramped. Pleasant to sit in the lounge in front of the fire.

'A quiet old school hool hotel that still has all its charms. Room was clean and refurbished thought paint work on roof was ordinary.
