Beachfront Condo

Second floor walk-up unit with kitchenette & one full bath in Carriage Stop; located steps from the beach (Please note stairs are required to access the unit.)

Sleeps 4-6 - Bedroom has one full bed, one bunk bed with a hidden trundle bed; Living room has a futon bed, 50-inch smart TV with Blue-ray DVD player; WiFi included; Ocean view from the balcony/common area; One-car parking; Wildwoods/Cape May area attractions minutes away; Public transportation available to the Wildwoods boardwalk and other attractions. Please note the following check-in details:
The condo is at Carriage Stops Condos, Wildwood Crest, NJ. It is on the second floor of the three-floor section of the building. The parking slot is right below the condo. Please back up your car nd put it into the slot.

Per the HOA, no pets are allowed.
The lockbox code will be provided a day or two before your check-in. The unit key is in the lockbox.
Wi-Fi Access Point is hm7, password 402atlantic.

IMPORTANT: Please bring your bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels. There are two full beds and three twin beds.
The shower knob/handle is a little stiff. Pull this out and then turn on hot or cold water.
The trash dump is on the side of the property on Atlantic Avenue.
The outdoor shower is on the side of the property. Please don’t bring sand into the apartment, as it can cause plumbing issues in the shower drain.
Please bring toilet paper and paper towels.
Please clean the kitchen, including pots and pans and the refrigerator, at your check-out.
At your check-out, please place the key back in the lockbox.

The property is near the board walk. Very nice quiet area. Walkable to the beach. Nice pool! The condo is very comfortable and very clean. I traveled with my husband and 2 teens. There is only one room to be shared. It has a full bed (which for us it was the downside of our stay) The mattress is hard as a rock that my hsuband and I couldn't sleep the 2 days there. We wakeup with pain all over our bodies. I told the owner and apparently this will be update in September. There is also a bumpbed. One twin bed on the top and a full be on the bottom. Also make sure you bring your own sheets and pillows, as this are not provided. I was traveling from far away so this took more of of our space that I was anticipating, but we made it work. The condo has a small parking space, luckily we went in our smaller car otherwise, my husband Silverado Truck wouldn't have fit in the space. So make sure you know that if you have a bid truck the space will be very tight. Overall we enjoy our stay. Very calm and peaceful area.

It was okay

The beds were hard as rocks, made it hard to sleep. The front door doesn't close right we had to kind of pull it hard or it wouldnt shut. We normally stay in a different room but it was booked, we stayed at carrige stop since we were teens with our parents, so the place as a whole is great but the room could have been better.

Condo was cute and clean. It could use some updating but it served its purpose for my family of 3. Owner was helpful & super fast replying to any questions I had. Grounds were clean, pool looked beautiful and well kept even though we didn't get to use it and the location really is just steps to the beach. And all the residents are so friendly! Sure, there are nicer condos out there but for a beachy/vacay feel at an AFFORDABLE price, this place was perfect

Condo was very convenient to wildwood board walk without being right on top of it. Beach was steps away! Pool was amazing. Not very clean! Hair in bathroom. Floors dirty! Double bed was so uncomfortable. After cleaning and moving futon mattress (couch) on double bed every night it was a very enjoyable stay!

Nice size place but suggestions: Need a bigger bed like a queen in bedroom, tub drained very slow, shower head needs to be replaced, we cleaned the air filters and bathroom sink drain very clogged. Frying pans need to be replaced. The pool was very well kept and the bbqs were great!

Could be better

The place seem a bit bigger in the pictures but it was a disappointment. Place could be better cleaned. Beds have spots. And honestly for someone who charge all that money for a night you should invest in a shower head seriously. Shower is horrible.

Beach Block is NOT Ocean Front

In the NJ shore area, there are very specific meanings to terms "Ocean View" "Ocean Block" and "Ocean Front" Ocean Front means that the front of your unit is directly facing the beach. This property is listed as Ocean Front. It is 3 buildings off the beach with no view of the water. The neighborhood is a good one for kids. Owner made a point of listing that all the dishes we needed would be there. Some were, but there was only 1 fork. No working can opener. No working corkscrew. The woman who cleans/manages the place, Linda, is a peach!

Amazing location - condo needs significant updates

The location was ideal. We’ve stayed in a different condo in this same location and it is a 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 min drive to the boardwalk, and 12 minutes to Cape May. Property owner was out of the country but responsive, and there is an on property woman who handled property questions when he was away - Linda was a doll. Electric double burner cooktop was broken first day (a single electric burner was left to plug in) but electrician came the next morning and replaced the cooktop. Ice maker does not work. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the unit. Very old worn unclean furniture (very dusty drawers, closet with dirty mattress covers and pillows on the floor, dirty doors/walls, full sized bed was broken, dingy and dirty floors requiring shoes 24/7 despite cleaning service having come prior to visit, and the bathroom was in need of a cleaning when we came in. Ideal location - condo needs work.

Just ok but check in process was a nightmare

Great location in WWC. That’s the good part. Condo very outdated and smell is bad, like urine and mildew. There was a dryer sheet stuck in the air conditioning unit when we arrived so previous guests were struggling too. Pillows on the couch were literally filthy. We were left with no check in info for over three hours and couldn’t get in despite me messaging asking for it days prior. You have to bring sheets and towels which I didn’t see nor expect for a VRBO so we had to go out and buy them. For what I spent on the place definitely was not worth it.
