'The property is very small (maximum of 6 guests), and is essentially a renovated old farmhouse. That’s what makes it so quaint and unique, plus it’s very quiet. The host is extremely friendly, and since it’s a B&B we had a really nice breakfast cooked for us in the morning. The only downside (thankfully we didn’t run into this issue) is that the two “standard” rooms share a bathroom. I feel like this should be stated VERY clearly and up front in the listing. 'There were four adults who shared apartment A. It was a great place to just "hang out." We enjoyed sitting around the fire ring listening to the birds and walking over to see the horses and deer in the field. We only stayed two nights. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The kitchen was equipped with most of what you would need, although we could have used a grater for cheese and a baking dish. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and would stay here again.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful and peaceful farm with lots of space to roam and beautiful scenery. Add in the beautiful horses and birds. 'This place has it all! In both the grounds and house, there is a generosity of space, and yet it feels cozy and approachable. The landscaping—including two ponds—makes the area seem private, and yet we got tired exploring! The home has a capacity to hold a crowd, but we gathered comfortably in the living and dining areas. This gem in the PA countryside is one that I hope to return to again and again. Plus the homeowner made check in and arrangements easy.'

'This apartment is so pretty. It was very comfortable. There were snacks from local companies, Utz chips and Hershey chocolate which was very thoughtful. 'Stayed during Christmas holiday while visiting family. Property is large and had plenty of room even when we hosted Christmas dinner for immediate family. Since I was cooking, the kitchen was very important. Grace’s kitchen is stocked with good quality dishes, pans and tools. This was our second stay at Chateau Ridge and it won’t be the last.'
