One of the best places I have ever stayed! It was truly a retreat setting; we had a small leadership retreat here. The house was super clean, quiet, well furnished, really spacious, comfortable and had so many extras like coffee, food items, toiletries, and nice tasteful dishes. Beds were comfortable, all hypoallergenic (no feathers, plug in scent-makers or all that awful stuff!!) Nice big garden, firepit, and lake and mountain views. Plenty of parking. AC, fans, many lighting options, cellphone chargers etc. Could not ask for anything more. I hope we have the chance to return.

Kathleen was an amazing host and the property exceeded our expectations. The kids loved the bunk room and loft and the surrounding area provided something for all interests. We will definitely be planning another stay.

Great cozy property!

We really enjoyed this property. The owner was excellent with communicating. The property was clean and well maintained. It was stocked well with dishes and various untensils....even had a stash of items in case you forgot something....like a toothbrush or toothpaste. 5 stars all the way!

Wonderful cabin!

We had such a great stay here! The owner has created a cute, clean, and organized place. It is well decorated and very comfortable. It easily accommodated our family of four adults, plus some friends who came for dinner. The owner was also very responsive when we needed help with anything. Highly recommend it!!

Winchester cabin

My family of four stayed in this cabin for several days and it was a fabulous stay. The house was immaculate, very nicely set-up, and had sheets, towels and other amenities including a well-stocked kitchen. The location right at the base of Mt Wachusett was fantastic as well. The host was extremely nice and communicated with us very quickly through the messaging feature on the app. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Comfy and Nice!

Our stay at the pondside cabin was great and we hope to return in the future. The cabin itself is beautiful and was roomy and comfortable, and the owner was so nice. I would definitely recommend the cabin. In addition, even though we stayed in the summer, it is really close to the ski resort!

Very nice house*

Very nice property, however, I would caution anyone who expects to do laundry during their stay. When I booked the house I was unaware that it does NOT have laundry available for guests. Had I known I would not have booked, but, for those that don’t require laundry, it's perfect.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area. Home was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Played golf at a course nearby and visited a terrific brewery--both within a few miles of the home. Outdoor area was useful and private. Plenty of parking.

Outstanding Holiday Away from Home

This property is amazing in every aspect. My family and I spent a terrific Thanksgiving week here. The house/cabin is extremely clean and well-decorated. The kitchen had new appliances, was fully stocked with dining and cooking equipment, and was a perfect place for me to prepare my traditional dinner for 7. The cabin's lighting is also amazing; the furnishings are all very tasteful, cozy, and comfy. We absolutely loved the location, right at the foot of Wachusett Mountain, with lots of hiking trails and skiing close by. The deck of the cabin looks out onto a pond and a firepit with Adirondack chairs. The owner Kathleen responded to our emails/queries very promptly and took good care of us! There is not a single thing about this property that my family and I did not absolutely love!
