« Easy to find and had plenty of parking when I arrived. Communication for check in and check out was very good. The ensuite room was great - very clean, nice temperature, and very well-appointed. The lodge does not offer breakfast or dining but is just a 5 minute walk into the city centre. Overall it was great value - can highly recommend and would return. »

« Room was perfect, spacious and warm. It’s an old building so it had little steps to watch out for. So much variety for breakfast - cooked to order hot food, pastries, yoghurts etc. Some evenings it was a bit noisy outside but not for long and it is an Inn / pub. Parked 4pm-10am for free outside the cathedral. Highly recommend staying here. »

« I stayed at this hotel for 2 night .. Great staff calm really clean however it in the middle of nothing i fnd 2 night its too long .. Hotel not expensiv but u will expend mor with taxi because u will hav to pay at least 20£ if u eana go to the city and taxi its the only option ... Airprt 10£ ... No options for food u have to take a taxi to the airprt its the nearst place ... In general hotel was nice but i think not mor than one night if u transit bristol arprt .... »

« Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location. »

« Excellent accueil pour des français débarquant en Angleterre. Un grand merci à cet étudiant français travaillant dans l'établissement qui a pu nous aider efficacement comme interprète. Deux petites remarques sans gravité : 1) lumière tamisée de la chambre trop faible pour des personnes âgées n'ayant pas une excellente vue. 2) lit et chambre non faite le premier jour ! Toutefois le personnel est aux petits soins et on y mange très bien à un prix très abordable. Félicitations et compliments pour...

« L’hôtellerie semble être une annexe du pub, ce qui n'est nullement négatif vu le charme de cet établissement historique et de l'accueil sympathique du personnel. L'ambiance y est très bonne, la restauration est de bon niveau et l'ambiance générale, considérant la clientèle, est très "Glastonbury"! Les chambres (du moins au 2ème étage) ne souffrent pas de l'ambiance du pub et le calme est appréciable. »
