Perfect 3 Generations Family Vacation Home!

Perfect accommodations for a family vacation: Grandparents staying in the main floor king size bedroom suite with nearby bathroom; Parents in upstairs queen bedroom with sitting area and TV; Three kids (ages 7, 9, & 11) in upstairs bedroom with 3 separate beds sharing bathroom with parents. Great location for walking to Hyannis hy-line ferry to visit the islands. Also, walking distance to Tugboats restaurant. The house was very homey, makes you feel like you’re visiting with family. Easy drive from downtown library parking area if you’re planning on walking around downtown Hyannis.

Comfortable house!

The house was very comfortable. We were a group of five family members. We appreciated the large bedrooms with king size beds. We also appreciated the air conditioning since it was warm when we were there. The yard was great when our grandkids came over for a visit. The beach is a bit more than “steps to the beach” but a nice walk. I would stay again.

House is conveniently located near shopping and eating in Hyannis. Also close to a small beach and the ferry port. Owner was nice and easy to communicate with. Beds are a little soft.

Great house and location

This house comes as advertised. 3 big bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, cold AC and a nice yard. The walking trails behind the house were perfect for the dog. You are a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Hyannis. The kitchen/living room area is a little tight for 8 people but I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Customer Service

Great thanks to Lilian for the excellent customer service! She went above and beyond to accommodate us. The check-in process was easy, the house was clean, and the location was close to Tugboats Restaurant and short walk to the dining and shopping areas. Also close to Hyannis Hy-land Cruises that we took to go to Martha's Vineyard. At the house, the kitchen was well equipped for us to cook breakfast and a dinner, and the shed had ample beach chairs and towels for us to take to the beach, the Mayflower, which was a 20 minute care ride from the house.

We had a great time in this home though alittle touch up needed...

We had a beautiful weekend getaway with my Church family. The house is in a very nice area and very clean.We were able to walk to the beach...and we enjoyed a visit to the JFK memorial park. We were so close to where we got our ferry to Martha's vineyard. We made a delicious barbecue by using the grill which was very fast in cooking. The kitchen was so well stocked we needed to add nothing else just our food. New couches are really needed the ones there are quite soft and not comfortable so are the mattresses. But I talked to Lilian and she told me she in process of buying new ones. She is sooo good in communication. She made our stay very nice and easy because she made sure she replied all my texts asap which was really appreciated. Would really recommend this home...looking forward to going back someday... Thank you Lillian...

Great location for exploring the Cape

This was our first trip to Cape Cod, and we travelled with our small dog. The house was spotlessly clean, you couldn’t tell at any point any other dog had stayed there. The location was fantastic for exploring towns all along the Cape, we really thought you were halfway on the Cape - so easy driving everywhere. Walked to Hyannis for the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The home is well stocked in the kitchen for things to create meals, spices, etc. There were only two of us… I can’t imagine bringing top many more people there as I didn’t find the living room furniture very comfortable to relax with a larger group. It is a basic accommodation. I think if you’re out at the beach all day, it works really well. I found for the time of year we went when sometimes the weather was a little dicey… It wasn’t the most comfortable home to relax in. For the price… I just expected a little more. It could benefit from comfortable outdoor furniture, not just a dining table or hammock, it could benefit from some outdoor games so if you’re not out exploring, you could play beanbag toss or something. The home does not have any Cape cod charm. If you are looking for clean, basic accommodations in a fantastic location… This is your place. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than six people as the living room furniture can only accommodate five people. The host provides great information and as I said, I was very impressed with the cleaning in this home.

Lillian was easy to speak with for any questions and arrangements. The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. The location was perfect….close enough to walk downtown or to the harbor, but far enough away to enjoy quiet time also…..we want to come again with some of our family!! Awesome property

This was an amazing property in terms of space, facilities, and location. The only thing to note is that the yard inst fenced in. I may have overlooked this in the listing but I thought it was so I waa surprised when it wasn't. That aside, eerything else was a dream.

Communication leading up to our stay was clear and we received prompt responses to any questions. Self check-in instructions were easy to follow. The house was a great size for 6 of us and our small dog. We loved the location on a nice quiet street within walking distance of the beach, marina, and downtown Hyannis and also appreciated the binder of local information and suggestions. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the window AC units and fans made the rooms very cool for sleeping. The kitchen was large, clean, and had all of the appliances we needed. We appreciated the provided coffee and other useful items like beach chairs and towels hope to have the opportunity to stay again in the future!

cape cod vacation 2021

This house is just as it is described: location is great for Hyannis restaurants, ferries to the islands and choice of multiple beaches. It is close to the hospital which made it easy to find: just follow the hospital signs :) The house is extremely comfortable and clean with large bedrooms and plenty of room to either sit outside on the deck or play a game of cards at the kitchen table. You don't need to bring a thing to enjoy the beaches. Beach chairs, boogie boards, water noodles and beach umbrellas are plentiful along with well sized beach towels. This makes this house even better for a family not from the area and worried about having the supplies needed for beach going. We used the beach pass for Kalmus Beach which has a great snack bar, restrooms and showers. The owner was very responsive when emailed or texted, although I only needed to contact them on day 1. The bedrooms are all airconditioned and the main living area is not, which was not a problem at all. The cool Cape breeze kept everyone comfortable at all times. If planning another Cape visit this house will be on my list...

First Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation to the cape. The hospitable hosts leave a welcome book that tells you everything you need to know for your stay and are easily accessible if needed. This home is exactly as advertised. It is very comfortable, well-kept and truly has everything that you may need, and more for a short or long trip. (Beach chairs, hammocks, highchair, stroller, pack ‘n play) It has a beautiful yard in which the kids could play. It is also only minutes away from the beach, town, grocery stores, and highway. I would highly recommend this rental.

The house and location were fabulous. All of the items that one might need in the house were there and in good working order. The location was perfect. Very very close to what seemed to be a private beach. Was actually public beach - but sparsely used. The restaurants and downtown area was just 5-10 minutes away. House was very comfortable. I particularly enjoyed sitting on back patio relaxing while kids played in the yard. Host, Lillian, was outstanding - very accessible for any needs. I highly recommend this location.

We had the best time at Bayview Getaway. The house is adorable, comfortable, and accommodating. They have thought of ALL the necessities and amenities that families need for a beach vacation. To top it off, it's in a great location that is close to everything. We highly recommend taking the hy-line ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard...amazing! Also, a beach pass is included in your stay and Covell's Beach is wonderful! If you want to trek further north, Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro is gorgeous!! There is so much to do. The house is sparkling clean and a perfect family getaway!
