Cozy Lakeside Cottage with Private Pool in the Summer

Welcome to our cozy, tastefully decorated Cottage. Located on beautiful Lake Nipissing near Lavigne with 170 feet of shoreline. The flat terrain allows for easy access to the 2 beaches on the property.

The Cottage consists of 3 bedrooms, with main bedroom deck with lake view, fully equipped kitchen, living room and complete bathroom. There is a small toilet only bathroom on the second floor as well. The cozy cottage decor provides a warm and relaxing environment.

Beautiful walking trails just up the road , and only a 5 minute drive to Lavigne which has a grocery/convenience store, LCBO and Lavigne tavern with great pizza and live music.

The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, microwave, Keurig, kettle, toaster, blender, k cups, tea. Cottage dining table has 5 chairs with 2 additional available on site.

Living room - Has 2 love seats. Wood stove with free kindling, wood and fire starters. Amazon Fire Stick with Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime and a BluRay DVD player.

Bedroom #1 (Main)- Queen sized bed with deck with amazing lake view, 2 end tables, lamp lighting, and 3 large dressers.

Bedroom #2 - Queen sized bed with an end table .

Bedroom #3 - Two twin beds with end tables.

Washroom - Shower with toilet and sink. Toilet paper is provided.

Exterior - (Front) Cottage has deck out front with patio furniture.

Pool- In the summer of 2021, a 18-ft above ground pool with pool heater was put in for swimming. Has great views of the lake. The lake is shallow and some areas have weeds. The pool is a great place to cool off in the summer.

Exterior (Rear) - Mud room door exits under a canopy which allows for easy packing and unpacking.

New water system was put in Summer of 2021.

Propane BBQ is available for use.

Lake Area - Fire pit. Fires must be kept small in size.

Dock Area - Two Muskoka chairs with side table.

Outdoor games such as Corn Hole and Ball Toss are within pool shed.

Guest access
Cottage itself has space for many parking spots.

Property has a short shared laneway with neighbouring Rainville Cedar Cottages. Which must never be obstructed.

The next door Rainville Cedar Cottages has additional cottages and rents out a variety of boats.

Lavigne Tavern is 5 minutes away which has a grocery/convenience store, LCBO and Lavigne tavern with great pizza and live music.

Verner is 10 minutes away with a grocery store, hardware store and restaurant called Le Fromage.

Sturgeon Falls is a 25 minute drive and offers restaurants, hardware store and groceries.

The cities of North Bay and Sudbury are 60 minutes away.

Pleasant Stay for few nights
The property was nice. Hosts are great very accommodating. However, the lake is kind of murky which we didn’t really enjoy. The water inside the house for daily use was kind of smelly. Hopefully, the owner will find a way to check it out and fix that smelly water.

Beautiful cottage
Cottage was beautiful, on a great property! The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the pool was excellent, was loved eating supper on the deck overlooking the water and sitting on the chairs at the dock having coffee in the morning! The owners are very friendly and informative. We definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic and Tranquil
My family stayed here for a week vacay. The space was perfect. One bedroom on the main floor for my elderly parents and too floor are 2 bedrooms and the master bed with a beautiful lake view from the balcony. My 2 young boys enjoyed the loft bedroom style as well. It was clean and so homey. The pool was perfect given the weeds in the water. My boys caught a few fish right off the dock. We were also able to rent a boat from the resort next door which was delivered right to the dock. This was perfect and highly recommend. Easy checkin/ home manual. My family is rating this as one of the best spots we have stayed at. The Tarvern in town was awesome too!! Thank you Charlie and Julie for hosting us. Brenda, Dunstan, Ryan and Aiden

Over all this place is quite nice. It is clean, cozy and has everything one might need. The fire was sufficient to warm the entire cottage. We got it to the point of being too hot and actually had to open some windows for a bit. lots of space. We were only two plus dogs but there could easily be 6 people here comfortably. Not as secluded as we had expected but being there in January it was very quiet. The sunsets make it all worth it!

Wonderful Winter Escape
With the new lockdown in affect and back to Virtual Learning, our Family needed to get out of our house and have a change of scenery... What we found was the perfect place for a Winte Escape! A Beautiful Log Cabin, clean, cozy and fully equipped with everything we could need (even extra touches that we would never had expected) We were a little concerned with warmth based on the fact that it has a Log Fireplace...but the cabin warmed up so easily, and we were snug and toasty throughout the stay. The bed were super comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms perfect for our needs and there was enough space for the 4 of us to exist comfortably - even while working remotely and going to school online. I can't speak for during the Summer, but the solitude in the Winter was so peaceful! The breathtaking view of the frozen lake was the perfect backdrop... And really fun to go walk on to get some fresh (cold) air. While we enjoyed the peace and quiet and don't have any need to leave, it was quick and easy to get into town for any necessities. The hosts, Charles and Jane, were also fantastic - and available whenever we needed them. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat. The only disappointment is that there is no availability in the Summer to see what the cottage has to offer in the warmer weather. I can only imagine it's amazing 🤩
