Vakantie en citytrip naar West Carthage

While we were paying for the view and location…that was great!! The apartment itself was run down. Old carpet, the towels hanging in the bathroom were musty towels/hard crisp as the washer and dryer is old and not drying anymore. We turned it on 3 times and still not dry. The patio was not cleaned. The bed was hard/older. Should have light floors as you can see everything on the floor. We came early and the cleaner was there but it was not cleaned in the corners, hard wood etc…. Lots of dust! The internet didn’t work the whole time. No tv as it wouldn’t connect!!

Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ruime kamer met mooie badkamer. Het ontbijt buffet is fantastisch.

We spent four nights at the Cambridge Suites in an Executive Suite on the 21st floor. On the plus side, the location is great and downtown Toronto is very walkable from the hotel. It's good for families because you get more space than a traditional hotel room, plus a small kitchen area. The breakfast was fine, but we only ate in the hotel as we had some free vouchers. Otherwise I'd recommend going out to eat as there are many better options. The downside is that the hotel just feels very tired and worn. I'm not sure how it has an Expedia rating over 9, as it feels a 7 at best. Don't come here expecting anything luxurious or upmarket. It's functional and fine if you just want something basic that's in the heart of the city.

Great. Parking is a bit of a trick, but I figured it out.

This is an apartment in the Massey Tower. If you are expecting a typical hotel check-in experience or service from the concierge you won't be receiving either of those things. Even though it was psuedo-legal it was quite enjoyable, centrally-located, and close to a subway stop and the PATH system in Toronto. It was perfect for my needs. Glad I brought my own silverware and didn't need to microwave anything. Great views of the city!
