'We have been coming to this area since late eighties. Rented and stayed at different places from campgrounds to houseboats to cabins I have to say this is the best most comfortable and easily accessible place we have stayed in. The view, pond, cleanliness, ammenities, are the best. Absolutely loved the train waved enough at the conductor he started waving. Lol u can’t go wrong here'

'My husband and I stayed a week at Hilltop Hideaway with our hosts. We enjoyed every minute there! Our room was charming. The bath was well stocked with soft towels. We spent the majority of time in the pool. So relaxing. Both Shannon and Karrie cook awesome breakfast. I spent some time learning about their chickens and most of the wildlife around. I cant say enough about Shannon and Karrie. They are such caring and considerate hosts. We cannnot forget to mention their security staff. The pets....

'We were fortunate to have the hill too ourselves, beautiful view from hill, but views limited in cabins 2, 3 & 4. Cabin 1 had the best cabin view. Cabin 3 & 4 is a duplex with only a latch door to separate you. We stayed in cabin 3 it was very clean and quaint. Enjoyed a quiet night on the hill with a firepit and the fire wood provided. The hot tub was very nice, but located down by the main house which requires you too drive down and park . The host was very polite and helpful when available....

'This cabin was super cozy, the view was gorgeous, and the owner Mark was amazing! Mark made sure we had everything we needed. We didnt even notice or hear any neighbors and the birds are so wonderful to listen to in the morning. My family is pretty tall so the bathroom was a little small, but worth it for such a beautiful and secluded cabin. If you're looking for cozy and away from civilization like we were, this is it!!!'
