'The staff and food are brilliant the only thing that lets it down are the bathroom I have stayed about 7 times now beds are comfortable room clean and tidy just the bathrooms need updating having said that I will be back because the staff are so nice and friendly'

'Very quiet location and good parking are a plus. Bit tired accommodation. Waiting staff can be forgetful. '

'The hotel was good, we stayed for 2 nights and we booked half board. The room was a good size, however, few touches would make it look better, like changing the carpet colour, headboard and blinds. The room was a bit old but was clean, which is the most important. The staff were friendly. The first night they didn’t have a buffet, and the Grill restaurant was fully booked, so we had 2 courses each at the bar. It was included in the half board. Breakfast was standard continental and English....

'Service charge of 10% is a bit high on the restaurant bill.'

'Excellent stay at the Hopping Hare. Food is really really good and the room was large and comfortable.'

'Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!'

'Kamers zijn eenvoudig maar groot genoeg en schoon. Avondeten was prima en ontbijt ook, erg aardige dame. Alleen wel engels ontbijt.'

'Warm welcome Lovely room Breakfast delicious Check out could be better'

'Vanaf dat he binnenkomt tot he weer naar buiten gaat alles fijn geregeld en goed.'

'Weg van het hotel is echt wel aan vervanging toe (let op de gaten in de weg en op de parkeerplaats. Verder is het hotel prima. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet.'

'Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered.'

'Decent room, perhaps a bit of noise from guests (Friday night) but spacious and comfortable room. Reasonably priced. Pub meal was on point and better than it was previously. Staff were great. Parking was fine though not many spaces if arriving at a busy time.'

'Very helpful, friendly staff that made you feel at home, but also gave you space. The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was of a high standard although it would have been even better had fresh fruit been included. We ate every evening in the restaurant and the food was amazing'

'Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, reliable wifi for business travelers. I arrived before check in time and the owner was very kind and gave me another room that was ready. Local community is very close but kind to outsiders. Convenience store very close by. Will definitely stay there again when I travel to that area. Thank you Jaimie and crew, I truly enjoyed my stay!'

'very nice place for a decent price. restaurant is closed on sundays '
