'When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have a room for me due to construction closing down 2 of their floors. They magically found a room after i was googling new options in their lobby for 10 minutes. The room they gave me was 85 degrees and it couldn’t be adjusted. There were bugs in the bathroom and stains on the walls. The elevator worked 25% of their time. Disaster.'

'Front desk staff were amazing! I would stay here again simply because of the staff and cleanliness of the room. We did have 2 outlets by the bed not work which caused us to not charge our electronics correctly. '

'The Dartmouth House Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spotless and cozy along with the common areas. The bed was ultra comfy and breakfast was included too. Milena and Gary were fantastic, they made you feel right at home. We stood in the Honeye room on the 3rd floor. This room includes off street parking which is a plus in this neighborhood. Rochester has a unique parking rule where vehicles need to be moved to the otherside of the street after a certain time. That said, I do...

'The hotel and staff were wonderful! We planned a trip to The Strong Museum which is literally right next door. It was all by 1 minute walk, best location to visit this museum - specially with small children. The breakfast options were good and food was delicious, something for everyone.'

'I loved staying in this historic beauty with a speakeasy jazz club beneath it. I enjoy vintage style and this place was simply a delight and adjacent to the Eastman Museum! Great little boutique find!'

'Our daughters were in a dance competition and we booked the hotel to stay together and to have use of an indoor pool. All the girls ended with chemical burn type reactions to the chemicals in the pool. Our shower faucet also ran all night and couldn’t fully turn off.'

'What’s the coolest, most “un-hotel” hotel in the ROCH? School 31! Incredibly accommodating, attentive service, bespoke loft spaces interestingly designed in an historic re-purposed space. GO THERE!'

'The HVAC units are a huge problem here. They’re mounted on plywood in each room and are terribly loud. Very difficult to sleep. You can hear them roaring in the hallways too. Many people were complaining and trying to find quieter rooms. HUGE issue if you want good sleep. '
