'Keurige ontvangst door de aardige eigenaar. I.v.m. omstandigheden was de pub gesloten wat ik jammer vond. Eigenaar heeft wel een maaltijd voor me gemaakt. Kamer was een appartement en was prima'

'We had a great welcome after walking all day on the Pennine Way. The room was comfortable, clean and met our every need. The evening meal was delicious and ample. We would definitely recommend High Force Hotel.'

'The breakfast was stunning! Beautifully cooked with quality ingredients. '

'Evening meal was good quality but breakfast is basic. Make sure you have a key to access the pub after hours!'

'The room and cottage were great. Very peaceful location to stay and explore the nearby area, including Penrith'

'You don't get good feeling when you get into the room and there weren't shampoo/body wash (delivered next morning). There is no reception and a call to the hotel, it was received by property manager. She mentioned that we didn't had the reservation from Expedia but upon insisting, she found it and took 10 mins to arrive for letting us in. For the price, it's not what I had expected from the room & amenities'

'Lovely hotel in beautiful location in the Pennines.'

'Property was absolutely lovely, clean, warm and inviting '

'Great old English inn. Very friendly staff, good food and beers. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.'

'We went for a family stay and it did not disappoint! Warm cosy and we were welcomed with fresh bread and treats left for us. Karen came down to check everything was ok. They also cleared snow from the awning over the hot tub! Great hosts this is are 2nd visit as a family '

'Lovely place, perfect for groups. Pool table was a hit. Only negative was the couches in the main room were a bit old and had the arm rest cushion had gone so it was just wood. Needs replacing. But that’s only minor.'
