Come and enjoy your mountain getaway in this stunning cabin with great views and easy access. The access includes all paved roads and driveway right off of Jonathan Creek. It is just a short distance to nearby Maggie Valley and Waynesville with easy access to Cherokee and the Cataloochee Ski Area. Take advantage of our beautiful Lake Junaluska that is only 10 minutes away. It is centrally located to many day trips in the surrounding area including Cherokee and Nantahala national forests.
The cabin is located in a HOA community of similar homes and is situated for your viewing pleasure of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy evenings on the covered deck or along the large wraparound porch for sunset mountain views. Once you enter the home, you will be entering a modern home that has been freshly painted with the character of picturesque mountain living within the comfort of your own home. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped to make your stay very comfortable.
The master suite is located on the main level and features a new king size bed with an adjustable base with an en-suite full bath including a Jacuzzi jetted tub as well as a walk-in shower and walk-in closet. This bedroom also has a large TV with Direct-TV, same as the living area. The laundry room is equipped with a full size washer & dryer. Main level features an open floor plan of living room with working fireplace, dining area with mountain views, an additional half bath and a fully equipped kitchen. There is updated and faster WIFI. The kitchen has many updated small appliances and a new knife caddy and new grill accessories.
The upper level features a loft with a futon, a desk with charging station and a full view of the living room and mountain views through the huge front windows. Guest bedroom 1 features a spacious suite with a queen size bed, TV, air mat. in closet, Guest Bedroom 2 features a king bed.

Lovely house

We stayed here for three weeks. The house is so nice. Nicely decorated. It’s just like the pictures. And the view is wonderful. But for me the best part was the management company. There were a few snags with normal home ownership things that happened while we were there. (Things like a refrigerator repair, etc.) One phone call and they were on it! They would have someone out the same day - once it was within the hour. They were very responsive and took care of the problem. You don’t find that kind of customer service many places anymore.

Moutain family escape

We came in for a wedding and to see old friends. Helene created some changes and the rest of our family couldn't join us. It was a very enjoyable property and manager was very responsive to our needa prior to arrival.

Thanksgiving Stay

Really enjoyed the stay. Very comfy beds. Loft area was a little smaller than expected. Otherwise listing was accurate. In more of a neighborhood setting but still has a great view. Plenty of room for 6-8 adults. Only improvements would be a larger kitchen trash can and would like the washer to be working next time. Grill worked well but probably needs a deep cleaning to cook evenly.

Very nice property.

Very nice home and it had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The only reason for the 4 star is there is no trash pick up and you have to take your garbage with you when you leave. That is not good to have to pack garbage up with your luggage at check out. Also, if checking out on Sunday the garbage disposal locations are closed so you have to take it back home with you.

Pleasant “Winter” Getaway

This property provided everything we needed and more for our week stay in Maggie Valley. It easily accommodated our family with all working facilities and a view. The fireplace was used every night and the location was as close to restaurants and not to long of a drive from Asheville or Catalahoochee Ski Resort. Will return next winter.

Amazing views.

I would recommend this property for anyone who is traveling with a group of 5-7 people. Plenty of board games, kitchen utensils and more seasonings that the heart could even desire. Loved our stay.

Many better houses for the same price

If you like the smell of mold/mildew and wet dog, this is your place. The house needs a deep cleaning. It's not a mountain house; it's in a subdivision of fake mountain houses. The TV never worked right; couldn't access any major channel or even Netflix. Property managers no help with this at all. So many great properties in Maggie Valley, but this is one of the worst.

Cozy and perfect for your stay

It’s very easy to rent, communication is good leading up to your stay, not as many items are required as expected from the detail description (such as hand soap, dish washing detergent, and paper towels). It would be nice to have instructions for the coffee pot and to not have to haul off your garbage. Otherwise, it was a great stay! The house is cozy, has a nice patio, nice bedrooms, and place to hang out in the house!

A few issues to be aware of

The house was very clean. The view from the front deck is spectacular. Be aware that the wifi is weak. You won't be able to stream, and if you're trying to WFH, video calls can be iffy. That's to be expected in the mountains. The kitchen could use some updating and certainly needs better supplies. The knives were dangerously dull. Many windows have old miniblinds that don't work easily and could be an issue for small children.
