"How was amazing and had all the space amenities our family and three kids could ask for. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals. Beach access was perfect and the view from the balcony was amazing for morning coffee. We loved the library and enjoyed looking at the many photo albums of the house throughout the years. Would definitely stay again"

"Appeared clean but needs a visit from the exterminator. First night killed a roach and six or seven spiders. Needs a handyman visit as well (torn screens on doors, loose railings on decks, loose interior stair railings) and an outside cleaning generally from past guests that left empty beer cans and trash"

"This property on a positive note had enough room for everybody but hasn’t been maintained over the years at a standard that should’ve been maintained for today’s travelers. The decorations were not nice the furniture and surfaces were all old the beds were small and uncomfortable and old. We really felt like it was something we would not be paying top dollar for. To be honest this place is Livermore from not bring a smile to your face"

"Overall this was a nice trip. The access to the beach has changed however and is a bit farther than listed. Our parents had a hard time due to to walking. The house itself was great. Overall we all had a fun time."

"Very clean with some maintenance issues. The dryer did not work, sliding door locks did not work on any of the doors. Piece of ceiling was falling in one of the bedrooms. The worst part was the dryer did not work though. Overall a nice house."

"This location is exactly as it is described. The sunset views from the balcony are breathtaking and it really is only a 5-10 minute walk across the street to the ocean-side. Close to restaurants and shopping, it’s probably one of the best spots in Avon. Close to your checkin date, you’ll receive a very helpful and detailed document about the property and the area. It really left no questions at all. Highly recommend!"

"On our way down, the owner contacted us to tell us that the previous guest had broken the stove. They asked if it was ok to come replace it and they compensated us with lunch for interrupting our visit, which was not necessary, but grateful for the awesome pizza! They are extremely friendly and it was a great location. The kids loved all of the different rooms and especially the loft and balconies. If ever in the Outer Banks again, we will definitely reach out to them."

"The house is advertised as the best handicapped house in the OBX. We concur this is absolutely correct. The ramp up to the main living floor was very convenient for unloading your vehicle. Everything on the main living floor was accessible including the dock. The location is next to Hatteras Watersports where jet skis and kayaks were available for rent - very convenient! The owners were very responsive to any needs/concerns. For sure, the house rates a 5 star! We look forward to going back!"
