3BR, 2Bath, fire pit and bar on full Rec 5 Lake chain- pontoon

You do NOT have to be way up north to feel like you are. Happy "OURS" Cottage is a year-round 3 bedroom, 2 full bath lake home located on a full recreation 5-lake chain on Morris Lake in Mt Morris, WI. Includes a 4-car tandem garage, a paddle boat, a single kayak, a double kayak, and boat dock with bench. (Separate rental fee for the Pontoon) Enjoy the beautiful summer days on the lake soaking up the sun, boating, skiing, fishing, tubing and making memories of a lifetime with your family. There is an amazing swimming beach a short 5 minute boat ride away that is crystal clear and sandy. This is also the lake that tubing and skiing is allowed. Pack a cooler with beverages and snacks and spend the day tied up to the shore (to the right of the swimming beach) enjoying the lake and sunshine. Sunset pontoon cruises are also a must! The fishing is great right off the dock and boaters fish in front of our cottage all year long. We provide yard games such as bag toss, ladder toss, giant jenga, and bocce ball for your use. The 24' Bennington Pontoon with new 90HP Mercury engine is available for rent Mid April through mid October. 3-7 night pontoon rentals will be available depending on your stay. This is a separate fee from the cottage rental and is NOT included in the cottage pricing. Please email us for pontoon pricing and also let us know when you book the cottage if you are also interested in renting the pontoon. This 4 season home offers winter activities also! Nordic Mountain is only 2 miles down the road if you love to snow ski or snowboard. There is also a tubing hill with lifts next to the ski hill. Maybe you want to snowmobile or ATV on the many trails around the area. And of course... the ice fishing is great right outside our door! You will not want to leave our recently added 4 season room (sunroom) with it's spectacular views of the lake and sunsets. The red leather sectional sofa in the sunroom is very comfy for that unexpected guest. The kitchen was completely renovated in April of 2019. New white shaker cabinets with dark walnut butcher block countertops, new stainless appliances, new flooring, back splash and coffee bar! The master bedroom has a queen bed with an adjustable base- renovated Fall of 2023, as well as the master bath vanity. The front bedroom #2 has a queen bed with newer memory foam mattress with adjustable base and 1 twin X-long memory foam mattress- renovated winter of 2024. BR3 has a queen bed with newer mattress and box spring purchased 2020. A new barn door was installed between bedroom #3 and the Master in December of 2023. All of the beds are newer and very comfy! The living room offers a wood burning stove. Additional amenities include FREE WIFI, 4 TV's with Direct TV, laundry room with HD washer and dryer, new concrete patio off of sunroom- fall of 2023, and 4-car detached tandem garage with bar area behind added Spring of 2023.

Beautiful property! Owners were very welcoming and explained everything very well. Lake was beautiful! Although we couldn’t swim right off the dock there were still areas to swim. Loved the coffee shop and pub which were accessible by pontoon. Also enjoyed using the paddle boat and kayaks. Will definitely book again!

Fun family getaway

We spent 3 days here and it was a fun stay on the water,. Our boys are 6 and 9 and they had a ton of fun in the water and at the nearby beach. At night, the grown ups enjoyed sitting by the fire. The place was well-stocked, we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great family get away

We had a great time with our family of three teenagers on the lake. We really enjoyed boating, kayaking and all the water toys. The adults enjoyed the lake view off the patio and the teens enjoyed the game room. There was plenty of space for everyone.

Beautiful home, quiet lake.

Beautiful home and property with all the amenities you could want. Abundance of wildlife to watch. Calm, quiet lakes. Great for kyaks and paddleboards. We didn't rent the boat that was available. Maybe next time. Swim beach is at one of the adjoining lakes. Not sure you would want to swim off their dock, with the sea weed that is around. We enjoyed our time and would recommend.

We visited as a family of four with a 11 year old and a 13 year old, and really enjoyed our stay at the lake house! Check in was easy and Tom and Tami were amazing hosts. The house was very cozy and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area was amazing as well with outdoor seating, a really nice fire pit, and incredible views of the lake. There are several bird feeders in the back yard making for some really good bird watching. The little bar off the garage was a huge hit with everyone and provided for a great place to hang out. The highlight of the trip was the pontoon boat. We had a great time cruising the lake and fishing, and the kids had an absolute blast tubing! The fishing was pretty good and we caught several bass, bluegill and catfish. All in all we had a fantastic little getaway and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing Wisconsin lake house.

Very nice house on a fun lake!

The house was fantastic! Great bedroom/living room layout which made the stay very enjoyable. The view to the lake couldn't be beat, and the back bar in the garage was super cool. The pontoon boat (separate rental) was also a very nice add and made getting around the lake easy. Owner communication was prompt.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway!

We loved our week-long stay at this property for so many reasons. Beautiful lake views and easy lake access with a nice, sturdy pier and a great pontoon have to be top of the list, followed by the wonderful front room, where we spent 80% of our time. The fire pit was very comfortable with great seating, and the fire wood supply was plentiful. The kitchen is large and welcoming, perfect for cooking meals and playing games. So well stocked!! They have several refrigerators around the property for keeping food & drinks cool during hot summer days. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Tom & Tami are excellent hosts, and every need was met. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely Home on the Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage! The house was well equipped, and the decor was cute and cozy. It was so nice to be able to rent the on-site pontoon boat. We enjoyed tubing, visiting the public beach and several sunset cruises. The gardens and abundant seating made the outdoor living space an extension of the house. The kids enjoyed the "playhouse", aka the man cave! The fishermen in our group were happy with the fish they caught (and released). Our annual family vacation had a smaller group than usual this year (8 people vs 12), but if we ever have a smaller group again, I would not hesitate to rent this home again. Wonderful experience! Beautiful Lake house

We had an amazing time, perfect for a family getaway. The house was adorable with plenty of space for everyone. They had EVERYTHING you could possibly need there; we brought way too much lol. The pontoon rental is a must, especially at sunset, sooo beautiful. Fishing was great, literally the moment you cast you have a good size blue gill on your line! Tom and Tami are just wonderful people and so accommodating. We will definitely be returning every summer!

Fun Lakeside Getaway

We had a great time on the lake. The firepit and patio area were beautiful. The little bar area off the garage was fun and gave us a place to hang during some rain. Having access to kayaks, a pedalboat, and the pontoon just added to the water experience. The kids loved playing on the lilypad floatie in the lake.

Girls getaway

Our stay was amazing! The house and property were beautiful and clean and we had everything we needed right there! We also rented the pontoon which was convenient and they had more floaties and games than we could want/need! Tami was a very gracious and responsive host. We will be back! The only thing we got mixed up on was that we thought we had sand off the property so swimming would be easier from the dock. The beach is on a different lake. No biggie tho!
