'Room was perfect for the two of us. Light and airy. Window that opened to let in the breeze, welcome in the hot weather we were lucky to have. Ensuite with shower very welcome and easy to use. Handy fridge in room and also tv and wifi. Tea and coffee making facilities provided. Large car park and easy access. Breakfast provided and cooked perfectly after self serve cereal selection. Will definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you to the friendly Staff.'

'The room was clean and tidy however it was unbearably hot due to a lack of air con and alrhough a fan was provided it could not deal with the heat in the room. There was no fridge to keep water cold and milk from going off, . In the bathroom the toilet seat was really loose and the sink is so tiny it was impossible to have a wash. 'The staff were very helpful and kind. The property was part of a farm so there was an unpleasant smell of manure. The room was small and very hot. It would have been useful to have had a fan in the room.'

'This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. 'Rooms 1 and 7 were clean and comfy. No. 1 was stuffy (possibly due to hot weather and no air con) and smelt of cooking . No. 7 was cooler but affected by traffic noise as there was a fair amount of traffic throughout the night. Not ideal for light sleepers. Can’t comment on the meals as we didn’t eat there. Easy access to Pendine Sands.'

'We loved this hotel. THE view from our room was unforgettable. The QR code ordering system on the terrace with its spectacular view is a total turn off though. We couldn't even buy a drink directly from the bar. Makes no sense and they are losimg custom.'

No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.'

'The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales.
