'I had an amazing stay'

'The reason to stay is location, which can’t be beat. We’ve stayed here before it became ‘corporate’. It’s now almost impossible to call ahead and speak to someone actually at the hotel (persistence will pay off however’). Once there, the staff on site are friendly and helpful. The building given its seafront location requires constant maintenance and some of this was lacking: our door lock was jammed and keycard never worked the 2 days/nights we were there, the pool was also non functioning. ...

Het ligt ook op wandelafstand van bezienswaardigheden en restaurants, al ligt het wel aan een relatief drukke weg en loopt achter het domein een spoorweg (waar niet zo veel treinen langs komen trouwens). 'What a lovely little place. It is what it is; a refurbished roadside motel with modest rooms and fun decor but it does it so well. Adorable, great location, clean and nice mattresses. Really loved it.'

'Clean property. Easy parking and close to Mystic Village. Good water pressure in the shower. Staff was helpful. The first room offered to us has a buzzing sound and we got a new room right the way. It has all the basic you need - fridge, microwave, a safe etc, but nothing too fancy. Good when you are at the hotel for sleep.'

'The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. The curtains on the window were a solid panel so you couldn't really open them. I slid them aside. Fun fact: the metal box the mattress sits on makes a cool...
