  • Op enkele minuten van Blue Mountain, Mansfield skigebieden, sneeuwscooter en langlaufloipes, biedt dit pas gerenoveerde drie slaapkamers, een complete badkamer als de 2e badkamer momenteel wordt gerenoveerd. Geniet van een volledige keuken, gashaard, WiFi, Netflix, warmte en hydro inbegrepen. Niet roken. Huisdieren moeten vooraf worden goedgekeurd. Parkeren voor minstens 4 auto's op de oprit. Dicht bij de stad en restaurants. We zijn ongeveer 20 minuten van Blue Mountain.
    Dit prachtige, onlangs gerenoveerde huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om het hele jaar door van een ontspannende vakantie te genieten. We bieden een groot privéterrein aan de rivier met een grote betonnen aanlegsteiger om te vissen of uw boot aan te meren. 7 minuten lopen naar strand 4, Wasaga Beach! Ons huis bestaat uit 3 slaapkamers en 1 complete badkamer. De slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed. Slaapkamer # 2 heeft een queensize bed en Slaapkamer # 3 heeft een op maat gemaakt eenpersoonsbed boven een tweepersoonsbed PLUS een loft met een queen size bed! We hebben ook een uitschuifbed (2 eenpersoonsbedden) in de Florida-kamer.
    Gasten hebben toegang tot gratis wifi, Netflix, gas-BBQ, tuinmeubilair in de zomer, wasmachine, droger, vaatwasser en een volledig uitgeruste keuken!
    Huisdieren zijn alleen toegestaan op voorwaarde van toestemming!

Beautiful property located on the riverside, the home is wonderfully renovated and provided the perfect amount of space for our family. There was ample parking and access to local amenities was great. Communication with the host was fantastic. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We had a great week and the weather was perfect.Our host was very responsive to all our questions and gave good suggestions for access to the beach and places to eat and shop. Mosley St is busier than we expected and crossing the street to walk to the beach was challenging during certain times of the day. However once inside the cottage we couldn't hear any traffic. There was lots of parking and exiting onto Mosley wasn't a problem.The cottage is very well maintained and we enjoyed the open concept and accessibility for our elderly friend. Plus having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Would definitely book again.

Riverside weekend

Our family spent a wonderful May long weekend together at the property. The host was accommodating by allowing us to bring our dogs as well, which is always nice to not leave them with someone or put them in a doggy daycare. The property is in partial renovation, so we were a bit surprised that it didn’t look exactly like the pictures on line, but it didn’t stop us from having a good time. I’m sure once done it will look amazing The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and spacious enough for multiple people to be cooking or tidying at the same time. We spent a lot of time outside, and enjoyed the view backing onto the river. Our son was happy to be able to throw his fishing line off the dock, even though he didn’t catch anything, it kept him happy. Again, the host was very helpful and quick to respond if/when needed. We would stay here again in the future.

Great spot for a family getaway

I stayed here in the wintertime with my family. The space was perfect for the 9 of us and overall we had a very nice stay. I would recommend it. As someone who used to run a short term rental for years, here are what I consider to be the pros and cons... Pros: - excellent communication with owner, very helpful - nicely decorated - hot tub - dog friendly with fenced backyard - layout of the kids room was really cool and fit all 5 of the kids in our family, and they loved it - very well stocked kitchen - lovely river view out the back - close to shops/restaurants, beach and Collingwood (Blue Mountain) - lots of other nice touches like board games, Bluetooth speaker, plenty of blankets, shampoo/conditioner/soap provided - backyard fire pit - high chair Cons: - located right on a busy main road (we were surprised that this wasn't mentioned in the listing, however you don't notice this once you get inside the cabin because the main view is out over the river in the back) - back room of cabin is still under construction and somewhat unfinished making some areas of the cottage quite cold in winter despite the fireplace (owner mentioned she will put a space heater in there for future) - cleaning fees are high, yet guests still must bring their own bedsheets and towels (plus in our case, the kitchen garbage was left full from the previous guests) - can't lock the bathroom doors But overall we had a great time and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably. I bet it would also be fun in the summer being just a short walk to the beach.

Terrible

First we arrive to loud dance music playing from sun up to sun down. The neighbour is a 60 year old lady who hates the owners of the cottage. Her determination was to ruin anyone’s stay at the cottage. Second hot tub wasn’t working and looked like a swamp I drained and cleaned it still didn’t work. The beds and sofa were terrible....the list goes on. We didn’t spend much time at the cottage as every time we were there the music just got louder from the lady next door.

Relaxing on the river

Beautiful riverside property only 5 minutes from the beach. Plenty of space for our family of seven. Hot tub is a great feature and the cottage is very well designed and updated. We loved our stay.
