Resting on spring fed Pleasant Pond w/ a private deck, 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom w/ separate shower area and fireplace, you'll enjoy a comfortable and cozy stay at this remote New Hampshire getaway. Spend countless hours by the water, fish from the deck or hang by the fire pit and take in NH's extraordinary surroundings. A two person Kayak, a canoe, and one small boat equipped with an electric motor all included at no extra charge! Located in a prime location - 20 min drive to Mt Sunapee, 15 mins to Pat's Peak or explore the capital city of Concord just 12 miles away!

BEWARE The whole time staying at this rental I felt anxious and watched. It felt like I was being treated like a wallet, not a person. My family needed a place to stay in town this winter for 2 weeks while our home was getting repairs. When we arrived, the TV was broken and it was freezing but I didn't complain. I told them about the TV and they replied with me having to pay more money to stay because they charge per person and not per night (I had my 2 kids with me) A couple days later I got 2 payment requests for 1,415 due the same day. I contacted them letting them know that does not add up with the extra fees they asked of me. They replied.. “They are not going back and forth with me anymore and I owe 995” (extra 35 for my daughters friend coming by)They mentioned that in their 5 years renting they have never had to deal with someone like me and its been so stressful for them. What!!? I was never rude or irrational, I only didn't want to pay for fees that were unjustified. The next day I got a call from VRBO stating the host said I have to pay 1,415 that day or we'll be kicked out. I panicked and got a bank loan and paid them. The next day because of the below 0 degree weather the water pipes underground froze. We stayed for a couple more days with plumbers coming in and out but had to leave(couldn't flush, shower, wash dishes)They agreed to refund us but now they are trying to say the frozen pipes and TV were our fault to get out of refunding us our 1,400.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as described. The pond was clean sandy and perfect for swimming with our dogs. The location was quiet ane peaceful and the host was responsive and welcoming. We'd definetly come back.

Slice of HEAVEN!

The cottage and location were amazing. We loved every minute of our vacation here! The water was crystal clear, the dock with diving board was a huge hit! We loved morning swims and wine on the deck overlooking the incredibly gorgeous and peaceful pond view. The kids had a great time, the dog lived in the water, and my husband and I got some much needed relaxation. The owners were exceptionally responsive to inquiries and check-in and out were seamless. We loved this cottage so much, we booked for a week next year within hours of arriving! Hidden GEM!

A pleasant stay on Pleasant Pond! Our stay was quiet ands relaxing. The A/C mini splits worked quite well and were much appreciated because it was hot most of our time there. The water in the pond is incredibly clear. The fishing was great, both right off the deck and just a little way out and to the right of the property; we caught large bluegills, yellow perch, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass on pink artificial worms. It was very quiet and relaxing. There was no need to seek out a professional fireworks display on July 4th because 2 families put on a lovely extended show. There were plenty of towels and extra sheets, the water was hot, and the water pressure was good. The mosquitoes didn’t bother us on the deck but were abundant everywhere else on the property.

Small cottage on a pond

Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area.

A perfect escape!

We had the best time at your cottage. It looks really small when you drive up, but we had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The private beach and dock, canoe, and kayak were a huge bonus. We did midnight paddles both nights. Such a peaceful place. And the fire pit was awesome.

Wonderful spot for a quiet getaway

This property was perfect for us. We had perfect weather, the pond was warm and very clean. The area is quiet with neighbors that we hardly saw or heard. The private beach and deck were awesome. The firepit area was excellent. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Comfortable cottage in quiet spot

This is a cozy cottage on a very quiet pond. We were in the water almost every day and hardly heard any noise at all from neighbors. The kayak, rowboat, and floating rafts got a lot of use. The outdoor fire pit is excellent and even has overhead lights. The kitchen and living room are modern and had everything we needed. The back deck sits right at the water and is in great condition.

Could not stay even one night

The only good thing I can say is that the kitchen appeared to be clean. The rest of the cottage was so dark - dark rug, dark furniture, dim lighting - that it was difficult to be sure how clean it was. The bedrooms are tiny - there is barely enough room to get around the queen-size bed in the "master" bedroom. There is no central AC - there are two mini-splits, one of which is in the master bedroom, which means the door to that room and the doors to the other bedroom on that hallway - and to the bathroom and shower room (they are in separate rooms) - need to be left open for the AC to reach that space - in fact, there is no door on that second bedroom. The door on the third bedroom, off the living room, is broken and won't close anyway. There are no deadbolt locks on the front or back doors and the owners ask that you turn off the porch light because it "bothers the neighbors." There is also a sign that says they don't want pets on the furniture - this is not stated in the pet policy in the listing. The overall atmosphere was dark, damp/humid-feeling, and I started getting itchy sitting on the couch. That led me to not want to even open my suitcase in the place. I contacted the owner about all of the above and requested at least a partial refund because I could not stand to stay even one night in their cottage. They refused, claiming that the cottage was "as advertised." Not in my opinion. I left and went to a hotel - I could not stand to stay in that cottage.

A Wonderful Getaway on the Water

We had a restful stay in this modernly decorated cabin on a beautiful pond. We could fish from the deck right on the water. The floating raft has great chairs to relax in. We used the kayak and life jackets too. The cabin was clean with plenty of necessary supplies. Our daughter and family live in Hopkinton 15 minutes away so it was a perfect location for us. I’m sure we will return to this cozy cabin again.

Perfect retreat

We stayed here for a wonderful 5 days in summer! We enjoyed the swimming and kayak use, as well as the fire pit. Our kids loved having space to spread out and being able to bring our dogs with us! We also loved how quiet it was!

Relaxing getaway

We had a great stay! We got to wake up right on the lake and enjoy some morning canoe rides and swimming. The dogs had the time of their lives swimming in the lake all day. It was very quiet and peaceful. The house was super clean and nice as well. All around just a great area and I would recommend a stay here!!
