The rooms are renovated and cleanāwhich is a big plus. The āRustic Roomsā are niceāstylish rough-hewn wood decor.
The grounds and exterior and surroundings are rather bleak. Pool is decent though it might help if they landscaped a bit, as surrounding parking lot isnāt pretty. Not trying very hard here.
Breakfast is very limited. The option of cereal would have been fine, but they were out of milk. I asked about it, and the attendant said they āran out yesterday.ā (?) If they ran out they day before, that would give them plenty of time to buy some more, especially since thereās a supermarket two doors down.
This is one of those low-end chain hotels where they simply do not try very hard or care very much.
Fine to stay here if you get a good rate, but we had to pay high-season ratesāand for that, we expected much better.
