'Older motel. Building was ok. It was clean but needed remodeling'

'This is by far the nastiest property I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The room smelled like moldy dogs, there were dead flys everywhere and the mattress cover stains from God knows what. Lucky I was on camping trip so I had river shoes to walk around room, and sleeping bag that I used to sleep on top of covers. I only got the room because of heavy rain storm, If given the choice next time I’ll sleep outside in the rain. At least I know what I’ll be facing. '

'Host was fantastic in providing details regarding the property and the greater Mena area. We really enjoyed staying at the Sassafras Inn.'

'Beds were old and sagged in the middle of the we were scheduled to stay 2 nights but left early as bed was so uncomfortable. Only had one wash cloth, Two had towels which showed its wear, and 2 old bath towels. I have to say the room was old but clean.'

'Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking close to the rooms. Restaurants close by. Breakfast was slim and mediocre at best. Plan to go out for breakfast.'

'I was told by the manager that they had zero rooms available and that they were not even associated with Expedia in any way and I have been trying to get a refund since then. Worst experience ever!!!'

'Very basic. No coffee in room but free breakfast was nice.'
