  • Ons mooie huis ligt op een zonnige open plek tussen hoge pijnbomen, met prachtig uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan. Het strand (gouverneur Patterson Memorial State Park) ligt op 300 meter van het huis en is toegankelijk via een charmant pad (drie / vier minuten lopen) van het huis of door te wandelen langs de hoofdweg (vijf minuten lopen). Crestview Golf Club, een openbare golfbaan met 9 holes, ligt op minder dan 1,5 km afstand en het Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport ligt op 20 minuten rijden. Het huis is centraal gelegen ten opzichte van de steden Newport, Seal Rock, Yachats en Florence. De locatie maakt het ideaal voor een strandvakantie met familie en vrienden of een rustig toevluchtsoord om de ziel te verjongen.

    Een volledig gerenoveerde keuken en badkamers zijn toegevoegd in een recente verbouwing. Naast de woonkamer, keuken en eetkamer zijn er drie slaapkamers en een hol. Het grote terras met uitzicht op de oceaan is geweldig om te dineren onder de blote hemel of om te ontspannen met een kopje koffie of een glas wijn terwijl u naar de golven kijkt. De grote hot tub op het dek is een toegevoegde bonus.

    De keuken heeft granieten werkbladen en is volledig uitgerust met keukengerei, bestek, borden en kopjes voor uw kook- en eetbehoeften. Er is een barbecue buiten. Wij bieden comfortabel meubilair en luxe beddengoed en handdoeken. We bieden ook gratis internet, boeken uit verschillende genres, bordspellen en tv voor het plezier van onze gasten.

    Er is een open haard in de woonkamer. Wij bieden geen brandhout, maar gasten zijn van harte welkom om hun eigen brandhout te leveren voor gebruik in de open haard.

    Hoewel het huis gunstig dicht bij het strand ligt, kunt u gewoon besluiten om binnen te blijven en de golven door de grote ramen te bekijken.

    Het huis slaapt in totaal 10 volwassenen.

    Een drive-in / walk-up coffeeshop (die ook lunch en ontbijt bagels serveert) ligt op minder dan 100 meter afstand en het dichtstbijzijnde restaurant ligt op minder dan een halve mijl afstand (op loopafstand). Andere restaurants en supermarkten in Waldport zijn drie tot vijf minuten rijden, en restaurants in het centrum van Yachats liggen slechts zeven mijl naar het zuiden.

The house was clean and worked great for our family, host responded quickly to my questions. I wasn’t wild about the 5 min walk on the pathway to the beach but it was okay. I’ve been spoiled by being right on the beach for many years at Beachside State Park but we decided to try a house this year instead of camping. Strictly my preference, but I’d much rather be closer to the beach.

Our host was responsive, helpful and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of towels, blankets, sheets and everything we could need in the house. The hot tub was hot. The view of the ocean is small, what you see in the picture, but you can hear the ocean from the back porch. Our children loved watching the rabbits and the squirrels in the back yard as well. We had a fantastic and relaxing time.

Not oceanfront. Huge marsh area separates the house from the beach and the path to get to the beach is not well marked. Exterior needed some attention. Bathrooms were nice.

Exactly as advertised! Kitchen was well equipped to make our thanksgiving meal. Walk to the beach was easy. The coffee shop at the end of the driveway is a huge perk! Conveniently located for easy access to great hiking, sightseeing, restaurants and groceries.

Relaxing Spring Break

Very clean, easy access from the highway, short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and excellent coffee stand was just a very short distance away. Would definitely rent this house again!

Beautiful home and view

Very peaceful and serene. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend to anyone headed to the coast. I had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon. Easy to get to the beach and navigate into town.

Family Getaway

This was our 3rd year at Ocean Rose and it was absolutely wonderful. The property had everything we needed with a large family.

Ocean Rose is a wonderful house and was perfect for our recent stay. Walk to the beach is quick and easy (and it is a lovely spot of beach too). Kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. Beds are comfortable. We would’ve loved to get the hot tub above 98 degrees but in the scheme of things, that is nbd.Sink garbage disposal stopped working during our trip and the property manager responded promptly to have it repaired / replaced! This house is located so conveniently on the central coast - easy access to so many gorgeous spots (Seal Rock! Ona! Cape Perpetua!) as well as nearby towns.

A great vibe on the beach for our family. Short, fun walk out to the beach with the hot tub to warm us up afterward. Beachside Buzz was a bonus as a "nextdoor" breakfast option with many options for sweet or savory food or beverages. Clean and well kept if a tad sandy on the floors (I suppose it is near impossible to get all the sand up!)

The walk to the beach can be challenging but the view is awesome.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we will stay again. Plenty of room for us 8 women. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. Nice large table for games and eating.

The Ocean Rose is a clean, comfortable house with a lovely ocean view. The beds are comfortable & the house layout was nice for 4 adults. The close beach access made it get to the ocean for a walk. The house is as described, however it’s actually much nicer than the pictures show. We would stay here again!

Wonderful place with plenty of space! Only downgraded it because it’s not actually beach front. There’s a large marshland between the property and the beach. There is a path to the beach that is about a 5 min walk.

Best ocean getaway!

Loved this place so much! The trail to the beach was magical🤩 had amazing quality time with my family❤️ Owner was so awesome and on top of things! Had a problem with the propane tank and they had someone sent over to replace it in less than 10 minutes. First time in Waldport and it was the best beach house experience we’ve ever had!

Much Needed Alone Time

We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again! Only wish is more privacy- easily remedied by some different curtains and a privacy hedge to the left of the back years to block the sounds of the . GREAT view of the ocean, could hear the waves when the back door is opened. Loved the wood burning stove and the quick walk to the beach.
