'Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was really good and they even had packed lunches for when we’re out on a day trip. No cell reception (which we thought was a bonus), but (luckily) great WiFi. Showers were mediocre at best, but the beds were great. Area around the hotel is absolutely stunning; there’s beautiful nature right around the corner.'

'Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C.
We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting.
Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands '
'Dit hotel is een mooi statig gebouw die terug doet denken aan oudere tijden.
Echter zijn de kamers zeer goed verzorgd en van vele gemakken voorzien. Het hotel personeel is zeer behulpzaam en aardig. Het restaurant ziet er goed uit en het eten is er zeer goed. Dan heb ik het nog niet over de omgeving gehad. De schotse hooglanden zijn echt een 'must see' in je leven. In de omgeving van Loch Ness zijn mooie ruines en forten te zien, en dat samen met de natuur een hele mooie vakantie...
'It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. One of the nicest place we have booked. '

On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming.
We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds...

Furthermore the damp smell could be coming from weather conditions, but there were 2 blankets (there are 5 beds, so?) and one cushion that didn’t looked good (used to be white) which might have added extra smell to the atmosphere.
At least we were dry for the night although the sound of drops of water falling to the floor was heard throughout the night, a source of a leakage wasn’t found.
