'The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. The markings for hot and cold faded and difficult to establish which way to turn. The bath had various stains around the plug hole and bath and certainly...

'De hotelkamer zag er prima uit, alleen het was ijskoud (airco). Deze snle uitgezet, maar het raam kon niet open omdat dan alle etensluchten via de ventilator onder ons raam vanuit de keuken naar binnen vlogen. En dan nog het enorme lawaai van deze ventilatoren. We zijn in de nacht gevlucht naar een ander hotel, dit was niet te doen. Gewoon niet heen gaan!'

'Goeie bedden en heel lekker ontbijt.'

'Hotel was outdated and pool was empty, fitness was closed and food was horrible'

'Gelegen in een prachtige groene omgeving is dit een geweldig hotel. Vriendelijk personeel en een prima ontbijt en diner. Goede prijs voor hetgeen geboden wordt.'

'This was the perfect place to stay for a special event at nearby Wymondham College. I was warmly (well, it was during the heatwave!) and cheerfully greeted by Tracey. My room was clean, well-prepared and provided me with all the facilities I required. It was extremely competitively priced. My thanks to the staff concerned for their part in a really memorable weekend.'

'Accommodation within student campus, run well and always happy to stay here. Basic and dated but if you just looking for a no frills bed for the night then its perfect'

'My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. The bar has two tellies now, and I enjoyed watching the end of an ODI (Sri Lanka won), and then some Happy Valley with mein hosts. I thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here (as long as you can do stairs), it's reasonably priced, the...

'It started badly when, upon entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the room should have been decommissioned until it could be properly cleaned and fumigated. As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful cleaner who was still on the premises, who was able to arrange for an alternative room. Although better, the room did not...

'Top hotel we have been to 5 start service on a daily basis. The spa was great and all the staff were helpful for all our needs. Would highly recommend and will be returning very soon'

'Enjoyed the lunch'

'Traditioneel Engels Hotel net buiten Norwich met goede bereikbaarheid Norwich maar ook goede verbinding met Engelse achterland.'

'One bath towel 2 adults? Blocked sink? Charged 15 pounds to check in an hour early when we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. If you need to stay in this area it has a restaurant on site , it’s ok but not geat'

'Prima hotel op nog geen 2 minuten lopen van het vliegveld. Ideale locatie. 15 min met de taxi naar het centrum. Hotel is netjes, schoon, ietwat gedateerd maar primA. Ontbijt ook wat je mag verwachten. Kortom, prima hotel voor paar dagen Norwich'

'We had a great stay, with everything we needed. Exceeded expectations and will certainly book again if in the area. Very convenient with on site parking and an easy walk into the city centre.'

'Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay, from reception to brasserie to bar staff. The food prepared for the wake was delicious, and very welcome after the service at the nearby crematorium. Didn't try the breakfast as had to rush off for another appointment, but if it is anything like lunch the previous day, it would have been lovely'
